Dembele rejects Inter approach

Mousa Dembele has rejected a €20 million move to Inter Milan this month. The midfielder has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Tottenham Hotspur and fell down the pecking order during the second half of last season.

Inter had targetted Dembele as a potential pairing with countryman Radja Nainggolan. Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri haven't given up in their pursuit of Luka Modric despite the mammoth price tag and could make a move for the Croatian again during the closing stages of the transfer window.

Pjanic to Modric, as it's being reported in Italy, could have a domino effect. The Bosnian moving to the European champs would allow Modric to join Inter, while Milinkovic-Savic could swap Rome for Turin.

Bailey responds to rumours

Bayer Leverkusen sensation Leon Bailey has admitted that there is serious interest in him from Premier League clubs. Chelsea and Arsenal have been following the winger for a substantial period of time whereas Liverpool are the latest contenders to join the race.

Bailey said,"There's concrete interest. What I can say is that my full focus is on developing myself as a young player. If a club wants me, my management and Bayer will take care of it."

Bailey has spent only one full season at Bayer Leverkusen

Manchester United will prepare a mega €155 million bid for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if Paul Pogba departs for Barcelona in the coming days.

Aleix Vidal has returned to Sevilla on a four year contract in a deal worth £9 million. The Spaniard made 51 appearances in three years for Barcelona and could play his first game against the Blaugrana on Sunday in the Spanish Supercopa.

Arsenal target Rodriguez

Arsenal will consider making an approach for AC Milan left-back Ricardo Rodriguez. Saed Kolasinac picked up an injury in a recent pre-season friendly and has been ruled out for 10 weeks while Unai Emery faces a crisis on his hands.

Rodriguez is valued at £30 million but Milan are reluctant to sell the Swiss defender. There is only a short amount of time left in the transfer window and the Gunners will have to review their options to fill in their needs for the forthcoming season.

Rodriguez signed for Milan last year and made 47 appearances in all competitions

Thibaut Courtois has informed head coach Maurizio Sarri that he wants to leave Chelsea this month. The Belgian shot-stopper is keen on returning to Spain as he wishes to remain closer to his family based in Madrid.

However, Chelsea have declared that Courtois will not be sold to Real Madrid until a replacement is found.

Chelsea have loaned out two more youngsters for the 2018/19 season. Defender Matt Miazga has joined Ligue 1 outfit Nantes whereas midfielder Kyle Scott has been sent to Dutch second division club Telstar.

Barcelona step up Pogba chase

Barcelona are preparing a £100 million bid for Manchester United's Paul Pogba. Super agent Mino Raiola will play the role of the middleman and have already begun working on a deal to lure the French World Champion to Camp Nou as soon as possible.

Juventus are also believed to be interested in Pogba whose relationship with Jose Mourinho detiorated last season. Off-field issues have affected the midfielder's performances on the pitch as Pogba has become constrained in his role and hasn't been able to flourish under Mourinho's unimaginative style of play.

Arsenal have joined Manchester United in the race for the signature of Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng. The Bavarians are willing to sell the German international for a sum of £45 million.

Manchester United remain actively interested for Harry Maguire and are prepared to break the world record transfer fee for a defender before the closing of the British Transfer Window on Thursday.

Chelsea set Hazard price tag

Chelsea have informed Real Madrid that they will need to pay a world record £225 million to secure the signing of Eden Hazard. The Belgian has been identified as the ideal replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo and the Los Blancos have set their eyes on Hazard all summer long.

The 27 year old is open to leaving Stamford Bridge this month while Chelsea are prepared to offer Hazard a new deal worth a whopping £300,000 per week to convince him to stay for another year.
