Chelsea are in advanced talks with Athletic Bilbao for the signature of Kepa Arrizabalaga. A world record fee of £71 million is likely to be agreed between both clubs.

Man Utd launch Alderweireld bid

Manchester United have tabled a final £40 million offer for Toby Alderweireld. Tottenham Hotspur have been very stubborn in negotiations thus far and are adamant that no bid below £50 million will be accepted for the Belgian center-back.

Similarly, Alderweireld has refused to sign a new contract at Spurs and looks keen on making the switch to Old Trafford. If the deal for the 29 year old falls through then United will have to switch attention towards Jerome Boateng.

The Red Devils had opened talks for Boateng and Bayern Munich have set an asking price of £45 million for the German international.

Real Madrid have signed Andri Lucas Gudjohnsen, the son of former Barcelona and Chelsea forward Eidur Gudjohsen. The 16 year old was previously a part of the La Masia academy in Barcelona and has also represented the Espanyol as well as Iceland U16 teams.
