Boateng rejects Man Utd

Jerome Boateng has snubbed a move to Manchester United after holding a conversation with Jose Mourinho. Bayern Munich had set a £45 million valuation and had entered talks with the Red Devils but the German defender is not interested in making the switch to Old Trafford.

Boateng aims to add another Champions League title to his collection and believes that Man Utd are not good enough to win Europe's most elite competition.

Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Toby Alderweireld but Jose Mourinho's side are still £10 million short of Tottenham's £50 million valuation for the Belgian defender.
