Chelsea set Morata price tag

Chelsea have slapped a £62 million asking price for Alvaro Morata. AC Milan are in the running for the Spaniard and negotiations have gotten underway between both clubs.

Chelsea signed the former Real Madrid striker in July 2017 for a club record £58 million. But, Morata failed to settle in England in his debut season and delivered just 15 goals in all competitions .

The 25 year old has been constantly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer while Chelsea are keen on getting rid off Morata after just one year.

Barcelona target Liverpool keeper

Barcelona are in the hunt for Liverpool shot-stopper Simon Mignolet. Second choice goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen is likely to leave Camp Nou this summer and Barca have identified the Belgian to fill the void that is potentially going to be left by Cillessen.

Mignolet has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield since the arrival of Alisson Becker and is now third choice. Meanwhile, the 30 year old is amongst the top of a planned clear out as Liverpool look to raise £70 million by selling their fringe players.

Barcelona express interest in Parejo

Ernesto Valverde is a huge admirer of Valencia captain Dani Parejo and Barcelona are in talks to sign the Spaniard. The 29 year old's contract runs until 2020 at Los Che but the Catalan giants are not prepared to meet the €50 million valuation for Parejo.

Valverde has identified the Spanish midfielder as a viable option and Barcelona could use wantaway Andre Gomes in the deal to land Parejo that could eventually see them pay a lower asking fee.

Parejo has established himself as a vital figure in the Valencia set-up over the last six years

Man Utd plot mega Maguire deal

Manchester United have launched an enquiry for Leicester City center-back Harry Maguire. Jose Mourinho is desperate for defensive reinforcements at Old Trafford and recruiting the Englishman has become one of the priorities for the Portuguese tactician.

Maguire is valued at £65 million and Leicester are ready to offer a new contract worth over £100,000-a-week to keep hold off him for the 2018/19 campaign.

However, it is understood that Maguire will be keen on making the switch to Old Trafford when he returns for pre-season training at Leicester.

Real Madrid to offer Navas new contract

New Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui is ready to present a contract extension to Keylor Navas. Similarly, the Costa Rican shot-stopper is prepared to stay at the Santiago Bernebau and has forwarded his intentions of renewing his current deal.

Real have been tipped favourites to land Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea that could see Navas relegated to the bench. But, the 31 year old is happy with life in the Spanish capital and is keen on remaining in Madrid for another three years.
