In an unlikely turn of events, Nice have announced that Mario Balotelli will remain at the club for the 2018/19 season.

According to reports, Borussia Dortmund want to sign Divock Origi before the window closes but Liverpool are holding out for around £27m for the striker.

A host of European heavyweights have circled their interest in free agent Claudio Marchisio. The 32 year old terminated his contract with Juventus on Friday and has stated his next destination will not be an Italian club as he does not wish to face Juventus.

Real Betis are the favourites to land Oleksandr Zinchenko on a season-long loan. The Ukranian rejected a £16 million switch to Wolves a couple of weeks ago but Manchester City are keen on loaning out Zinchenko in order to gain some first-team experience.

Celta Vigo want to sell Turkish international Emre Mor after just one year when he arrived for €13 million. Mor's attitude has caused multiple issues for Celta as the 21 year old has failed to adapt to life in Spain despite all the efforts put in by the entire staff and club to help him settle.

Adrien Rabiot has entered the final 12 months of his contract and is yet to sign an extension. As per latest reports, the French midfielder has demanded a salary package of €5 million per year to stay at PSG.

Rabiot's ongoing situation has alerted the likes of Liverpool, AC Milan, Barcelona, Juventus and Inter Milan lately. The 23 year old will be available for talks with other clubs in January when he will enter the final six months of his deal in Paris.

Paris Saint-Germain have been on the lookout for a new midfielder all season long. After missing out on the likes of N'Golo Kante and Miralem Pjanic and Paul Pogba, the Parisiens have now turned their attention to Barcelona midfield pair Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets.

It is highly unlikely that Barcelona would be willing to part ways with one of the midfielders let alone two. The Catalan giants will renew Busquets' contract in September while Rakitic has three years remaining on his deal with a termination clause of €125 million.

In short, PSG will have to break the bank once again in order to push through a move for either Busquets or Rakitic.

Loris Karius is in advanced talks Besiktas over a possible move this month. Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp has sanctioned the move and is ready to let Karius depart Anfield on a season-long loan deal that could be made permanent next summer.

With Karius likely to leave, Klopp will keep hold off Simon Mignolet, who will serve as the second-choice and backup goalkeeper to Alisson Becker.

RB Leipzig have launched an improved £22 million bid for Everton winger Ademola Lookman. Lookman has slipped down the pecking in the Everton first team following the arrivals of Richarlison and Bernard.

Similarly, Leipzig have identified the 20 year old as a priority signing this window and the German club will refuse to give up on acquiring Lookman.

Talks of a new contract between Aaron Ramsey and Arsenal have collapsed. The Welshman has entered the final year of his contract and has demanded a massive hike on his current wages of £110,000 per week.

Ramsey's unresolved contract negotiations at Arsenal has alerted Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United. The 27 year old will be open to talks of signing a pre-contractual agreement from other clubs when he enters the final six months of his deal at the Emirates.
