Sky Sports News understands Celtic are preparing a bid for Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna.

Aberdeen have turned down bids for the 21-year-old Scottish international from Hull and Swansea in the last two transfer windows.

Juventus have confirmed that Miralem Pjanic has penned a new five year contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2023.

Barcelona are refusing to give up their pursuit of signing another midfielder. The Spanish Champions have reactivated their interest in Ajax starlet Frenkie De Jong and are set to launch another offer for the Dutch midfielder.

Free agent Claudio Marchisio is headed for AS Monaco following the termination of his contract with mutual consent by Juventus last week.

Nice, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Real Betis were also in the hunt for the 32 year old but Marchisio looks to have made up his mind and is set to complete his move to Monaco very soon.

Everton have set their asking price for Ademola Lookman. The Toffees are demanding £28 million plus add-ons from RB Leipzig for the Englishman.

Everton previously rejected a £12 million offer from Leipzig in July and have been very stubborn in negotiations as they do not want to risk losing Lookman permanently. However, the German club have identified the 20 year old as a top target and will most likely continue their push before the close of the transfer window.

Lookman had a successful six month stint at Leipzig last term

Real Madrid have loaned out 19 year old Martin Odegaard to Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem until the end of the season.

Odegaard spent the last two seasons on loan at Heerenveen

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has hinted that PSG target Filipe Luis may have played his final game for the Rojiblancos against Valencia on Monday night.

Oblak said,"It's a little sad, but football is like that, let's see what happens."

Barcelona tracking Rabiot

Despite the arrival of Arturo Vidal, Barcelona remained vested in their chase for Adrien Rabiot. The French midfielder's deal expires next summer but the Catalan giants firmly believe they can land him this window for a fee of €45 million.

Similarly, Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets but Barcelona are most likely to refuse any offers for the duo. Rakitic is contracted until 2021 with Barca and only a bumper offer from PSG could convince either party to change their mind.

Thierry Henry's representatives have opened talks with Bordeaux about the possibility of the Arsenal legend becoming the club's next manager.

However, Henry isn't the sole candidate in the runnning for the Bordeaux job as he faces competition from experienced French managers such as Remi Garde and Laurent Blanc.

Current boss Gus Poyet is on the brink of being sacked following his outbust against the club's owners and management.

Real Betis are keen on taking Barcelona midfielder Rafinha on loan until the end of the season. Negotiations are already underway between both the parties as Rafinha's father and agent, Mazinho, is in Sevilla negotiating the deal with an agreement thought to be close.

Spanish duo eye Alonso

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are set to compete in the transfer window for Chelsea's Marcos Alonso. The Spaniard has thrived in West London over the last two years and has cemented himself as one of the best left-backs in the Premier League.

At Real, new boss Julen Lopetegui has requested for another wide player on the left as a backup for Marcelo following the departure of Theo Hernandez on loan to Real Sociedad.

Meanwhile, at Atletico, Filipe Luis has been linked with a move to PSG and reports state that he has reached a verbal agreement with the Parisiens. The Rojiblancos are reluctant to let Luis leave on the cheap and have slapped a €30 million price-tag on the Brazilian.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek could be swayed by the opportunity of leaving Chelsea on loan this month. The 22 year old fears that he could lose his spot in the England national team if he remained at Stamford Bridge and received limited opportunities under Maurizio Sarri.

However, the coaches and management believe that Loftus-Cheek can force his way into the first-team under the new manager and would like for him to stay and fight for his place at Chelsea.
