Hello, and welcome to our live coverage of the Spanish Challenge Open women's doubles final, where Das and Batra of India face off against the Jihee and Haeun of Korea.

18:21 (IST)26 NOV 2017

Indian Table Tennis duo Mouma Das and Manika Batra have made it all the way to the finals of the women’s doubles category of the 2017 Spanish Open, in Almeria, Spain, and are all set to face off against Jihee Jeon and Haeun Yang of Korea, today.

The two Indian paddlers have done brilliantly to make their way to the final of the tournament, as they brushed aside Dara Cechova and Alexandra Privalova of the Czech Republic 3-1 in the first round.

However, they faced sterner challenges in the quarterfinals and the semifinals, against Saki Shibata and Maki Shomi of Japan, and Ana Garcia and Xuan Zhang of Spain, respectively. They won both the matches by a 3-2 margin. Now, the two have made their way to the finals, where they face the Korean duo.

Earlier this year, both Das and Batra and created history by becoming the first Indian pair to make it to the quarterfinals of the 2017 World Championships.
