45+1' Half time. Liverpool dominated in the early stages of the first half, but Barcelona stepped up their game before too long, and started to find their rhythm. Both teams have had chances that should've been converted, but weren't. The second half is perfectly set up to be a hugely entertaining one. Mane is clearly Liverpool's biggest threat, while Munir, Suarez and Messi are causing problems for the Liverpool defence with their movement. As it stands, Sadio Mane's goal is the only difference between the teams.

90+2' The ref blows the whistle to bring the game to an end. What a massive boost of confidence this will be for the Reds! Mane was a constant nuisance to the opposition defenders, and Lovren was absolutely huge in defence. Barcelona were comprehensively beaten. The Catalan giants had poor starts to both halves of the game, and Klopp's men took advantage ruthlessly. The German will be delighted by the display all around from his team. Luis Enrique won't be quite so impressed with his team's performance today, but he won't be overly concerned either. This was only their third game of preseason.
