There were appeals for a handball by Aguero when the ball deflected off him but the linesman's decision is spot on as we see in the replays. His hands were very close to him body and is hit him on his thigh and not his hand mainly.
74' Aguero, De Bruyne and Navas combine well do ever so well to make that counter-attack so successful. Aguero hold up the ball till his team-mates come up and then De Bruyne slips the ball to Navas into the box whose cross is palmed away by Ter Stegen but it deflects off Aguero and falls to Gundogan who does not miss an open goal! 71' Manchester City clearly the better side in the 2nd half. They have had all the possession and chances but ar still just one goal ahead. Barcelona have 2-3 good chances and they haven't converted them as well.

57' Free-kick to Manchester City just outside the box and it's Silva to curls it into the box. Aguero does well to jump high and head towards goal but it's just wide.

Aguero slips the ball to Sterling but his first touch is horrendous and it takes him to a tight angle but still he manages to shoot only for it to hit the side of the net! 34' DOUBLE CHANCE! The free kick is whipped in but is half-cleared by Gundogan. It balls at the feet on Andre Gomes who's unmarked inside the box but he's unable to get the ball past Stones who does extremely well to block the shot. The ball is crossed to Messi who puts it on the head of an unmarked Luis Surez inside the six yard box but the Uruguyan is anable to guide the ball into the back of the net.

Sterling picked up the ball and was turning to starta counter-attack when the Brazilian decided to kick out and bring the Englishman down.
27' Neymar wriggles into the box and is almost blocked by his own teammate, Luis Suarez. The Brazilian contuniues to go on and shoots from a tight angle. Caballero does well to get a hand to it and it's a corner to Barcelona.

23' Another attempt by Manchester City on the counter-attack and again it's lead by Sergio Aguero. The argentine does well to get past Digne but Umtiti does well to block Aguero's cross and it's out for a corner.
Suarez's run to make space for Messi to score that goal will be under-rated by many! That's the only role he had in the goal but how crucial was that?
21' WHAT A COUNTER-ATTACK! The Manchester City freekick was a poor one and Barcelona counter with Neymar, Suarez and Messi. The move had just 5 passes from one end of the pitch to the other. Messi waits for the bal just outside the D-Box and Neymar finds him perfectly. One to free up some space and the seconds one to slot it home! Manchester City 0-1 Barcelona
