PEEP! PEEP! PEEEEEEP!

MANCHESTER UNITED 2-0 MANCHESTER CITY

Last one, I promise, Houston, we've got a United victory. That was fairly routine from a vastly superior United side as an understandably rusty City outfit failed to keep up with a United side that seems to be gelling well in and off the field.

Pretty fun for an exhibition game this, and one can only hope that the remaining ICC fixtures are just as entertaining

Anirudh Menon signing out, thanks for reading!

Toodle-ooo
...
92' Sane runs at Fosu Mensah but the young United defender does superbly to pinch the ball away from the galloping German.
...
91' Perreira runs at Mangala before sweeping the ball into the box, but it's straight at Stones and he does well to clear
...
TWO MINUTES TO BE ADDED ON
...
90' Jesus looks to show there's still fight in the blue half and he muscles past two United players before being unceremoniously dumped to the ground by Phil Jones.
...
89' Things have petered down now... kind of.
...
88' Zitchenko gets in behind United's defence, but his pullback is cleared away well by big Marouane Fellaini... and United play keepball for a bit
...
87' City pass-pass-pass harmlessly in front of the United defence - before Nasri attempts another of those pretty little jinks, which Fosu Mensah does well to clear.
...
86' Walker tries to run in behind Darmian, but the Italian did well to prevent the ball from getting around him - if he had, there'd be only one winner in the footrace
...
85' The corner, as has been the theme for City today, is utter tosh.
...
84' DOUBLE WOOF! FERNANDINHO HAMMERS ONE AT UNITED'S GOAL FROM NIGH ON THIRY YARDS OUT, AND IT TAKES EVERY BIT OF ROMERO'S SKILL TO KEEP THAT ONE OUT
...
83' WOOOOF! NASRI PLAYS THE PASS OF THE MATCH, A SUBLIME OUTSIDE OF THE BOOT LOB THROUGH TO JESUS BUT THE BRAZILIAN CAN'T GET A GOOD ENOUGH TOUCH ON IT and it's a goalkick
...
82' Fosu Mensah Fosu Mensahs Sane off the ball, and is the wont when Fosu Mensah Fosu Mensahs people off the ball, it's a foul
...
79' UFF! Pogba is all athletic power isn't he.... he outpowers and out-tricks Mangala on the left touchline before lifting a smart ball into the box that Fellaini gets absolutely no purchase on with his header
...
78' GOOOONOOOO! Lukaku has the ball in the net, but it's after the refs had pulled up Jones for being offside... from the corner, a completely, ludicrously, free Fellaini headed into the centre where Jones, completely, ludicrously, free stabbed it at goal (twice) where Ederson pulled off a stunning save (two, actually).... Jones, though, was offside and that saves City's defence their blushes
...
77' Another sweeping United corner results in a corner as Valencia plays in Pogba and the Frenchman wins it off Mangala. Meanwhile, Mourinho throws on Andreas Perreira and Timothy Fosu-Mensah for Valencia and Lingard
...
75' Samir Nasri then turns on the afterburners to win a corner off Darmian... the set-piece is played short, and you know the thing about short-corners and Adam Sandler movies - they aren't too good an idea.
...
74' That's the impressive young lad's last contribution of the match as he makes way for Oleksandr Zinchenko
...
73' It's cleared well by Mangala... BUT OOOO CITY!!!! DIAZ ALMOST RUNS ONTO A CLEVER JESUS PASS BUT ROMERO JUMPS OVER HIM TO PUNCH IT AWAY.... IT LANDS STRAIGHT AT PHIL FODEN'S FEET BUT IT'S ON HIS WEAKER RIGHT AND HE SMACKS IT INTO THE HOUSTON NIGHT
...
72' Martial and Pogba work a couple of neat one-twos before playing the ball out to Lingard on the right; who in turn wins a corner off Mangala.
...
71' Stones wafts a nice little ball out to Sane, but once again he's outmuscled by Valencia... Nasri then tries to pick out Sane, but the two are not on the same wavelength just yet - and it's a goal kick.
...
70' Walker has been impressive today - and he stops Paul Pogba in his tracks as the unusually quiet French superstar tries to force his way into the game.
...
69' Martial miscontrols a raking, slightly overhit Pogba cross-field ball, and Mourinho almost self-combusts on the touchline.
...
68' Ederson comes out bravely again, but this time he's calculated his dash to perfection and he gets in far ahead of Anthony Martial.
...
66' City still stroking the ball around in the middle of the park... till Walker tries to pick out Sane on the left. Valencia almost makes a hash of it, but the Ecuadorian recovers. City come roaring back forward and Walker puts in neat litte cross that Phil Jones does well to slide in ahead of Jesus.

City win a corner, but it's rubbish
