PEEP! PEEP! PEEEEEEEEEEEEP! FULLTIME!

Manchester City win this in a way that no one thought possible - winning with two goals from two set-pieces - while Romelu Lukaku makes more impact inside his own box than he does the other.

City lead United by ELEVEN points now. 22 games left, is there even a race now?

That's all from me Anirudh Menon.

Toodle-ooo!
...
94' City win two corners in succession... this is done.
...
93' De Bruyne picks out Bernardo Silva with an absolutely out-of-this-world ball into him but the Portuguese midfielder is foiled by De Gea.
...
91' Man City are shamelessly, and brilliantly, killing this game dead by holding it at the corner flag. It's been there for two minutes now.
...
90' There will be four minutes added on.
...
89' Sterling is keeping the ball in the corner. Young somehow manages to circumvent that massive backside of his and kick it out. Sterling does it again and Young takes his legs from under him. Yellow for the left-back
...
87' Man City make their final change as Leroy Sane is escorted out by Michael Oliver and is replaced by Bernardo Silva.
...
84' OH MY GOOD LORD. OH. MY. GOOD. LORD! Ibra held up the ball superbly to play it to Mata, who swung a superb little ball out to Martial - the Frenchman squares it to Lukaku. The Belgian smashes it at Ederson, who saves with his chin, then does even better to make himself large and stop Mata's follow-up! Then Mangala hammered it clear off the line. WHAT AMAZING GOALKEEPING. WHAT INSANELY POOR FINISHING.
...
83' Mata tries to steal in behind City's defensive line but fails to do so before Otamendi steps up intelligently.
...
82' Zlatan Andy-Carrolls his way into Otamendi... but he's also offside and the ref blows his whistle for one of the two
...
81' Ander Herrera is off, Juan Mata is off. Nemanja Matic, and Nemanja Matic alone, is Manchester United's midfield.
...
80' City punt it upfield and it's a goalkick for United. no really, a  Pep team just punted it up the field.
...
78' FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!! Herrera goes down under pressure from Otamendi and Michael Oliver gives the Basque a yellow for diving
...
77' Lukaku and Zlatan are playing as a traditional front two. Rashford and Martial are what make this non-traditional, though. United are playing a bleeding 4-2-4... and City are parking the bus. We've seen it all ladies and gentlemen,
...
75' Another error from Delph allows Rashford to run onto a standard Matic punt up the field and his rasping shot is saved well by Ederson... corner for United but before Rashford takes it, Ibrahimovic trots on for Lingard. The lion is on the field.
...
74' Silva gets pulled up for another nasty little tackle on Lingard. Hatchet-man David. Rashford then gets pulled up for a foul on Delph.... he was through there, the Englishman and Old Trafford is not a happy man.
...
72' Matic and De Bruyne get together in the physical fashion... and the ref takes the break to flash an unusually violent Silva a deserved yellow.
...
71' UFF! De Bruyne runs at United and lets fly with his left foot. but De Gea pulls off a superb save! Corner for City - but United counter at searing pace -Martial can't find a way through, and Lingard is pickpocketed by Silva... before the Spaniard then steams into both Herrera and Matic but the ref waves play on.
...
70' Rashford takes it like Ronaldo... that lovely knuckleball technique. Like most of Ronaldo's recent efforts, it ends up high in the stands.
...
69' OOO! Young steals a Delph pass and lays it off to Martial who streams forward.... Sterling brings him down in the professional manner, but he escapes a caution. Somehow.
...
68' Sane And Silva run circles around United's defence before the German gallops into space and lifts a lovely ball into the box that needs a deflection from Lindelof to take it away from a waiting Gundogan
...
65' Lingard gets on the ball and feeds in Lukaku... the Belgian runs onto it, squares up Mangala and smashes it into the nethersphere with his right foot. Oh, that was poor.
...
64' OH MY LORD! SILVA DRIFTS OUT WIDE ON ONE OF THOSE COUNTERS BEFORE STANDING ON THE BALL AND TEEING UP GUNDOGAN WHO'S CUT BACK PASSES STRAIGHT ACROSS THE FACE OF THE GOAL AND INTO YOUNG'S FEET
...
63' United are piling on the pressure but the men in light blue are holding firm. Mangala's presence means they are winning quite a lot more headers than before and this is helping City counter...
...
62' Rashford doesn't get a decision as City win a throw - and he gets a yellow for throwing the ball into the ground in frustration. Oh, for crying out loud.... how is that a yellow?
...
61' Silva smashes it into the back of the first man - Rashford - but United can't keep the ball. What can Mourinho do to change this up? 'Cos he sure as hell need to change it up.
...
60' De Bruyne feeds Sane down the City left, but the German's ball into the box is agriculturally hacked away by Smalling. He is then blocked by Valencia and City have another set-piece.
...
59' David Silva is playing centre-forward. Peak Pep, this.
...
58' United need to press City higher up the pitch now - and are doing so, but that's also leaving them vulnerable to the City counter - Jesus unable to do anything with it this time. Meanwhile, Pep takes a leaf out of Jose's book and Jesus is taken for the formidable shape of Ellaquiem Mangala
...
56' Perhaps it's best if United keep Lukaku up when defending set-pieces? Both City goals have stemmed from the big Belgian's awkwardness in front of his own goal... and it took De Gea to makes sure he didn't screw up against Arsenal.
...
OH MY! Lukaku absolutely smashes KdB's freekick into the small of Smalling's back  - and the ball bounces back kindly to Otamendi who finishes with an aplomb that would have made Aguero proud.
...
54' GOOOOOOOAL! OTAMENDI!!!
...
52' Loose touches from Lingard and Lukaku allow City to stream forward - as if they need a second invitation to do so - and Jesus wins a smart foul off of Herrera
...
51' OH! Martial and Rashford combine at pace down the left - the Englishman swings a lovely little ball into the box that somehow escapes Lingard and finds its way to Otamendi who forgets who he is playing for and larrumps it forward... it does, though, lead to a City counter and it takes Lindelof's strength and presence of mind to see off Jesus as he is fed through into the box by Sane
...
50' United keep some tangible possession for the what feels like the first time this match, and City's defensive frailties are showing just a touch as a couple of Lingard runs open them up.
...
49' A Romelu Lukaku show of power and pace allows United to break forward but a loose touch from the big Belgian allows City to nip possession back. Otamendi dawdles on the ball inside his own box and is lucky to escape the combined attentions of both Lingard and Herrera.
...
47' Some fancy footwork and underrated strength from KdB allows City to motor clear - he feeds Silva, inside the box, with a ridiculously simple ball but his cutback into space is met only by Antonio Valencia
...
46' Delph goes from half-line to his own goalkeeper with one flick of his boot - before Ederson leads a City attack that necessitates the combined might of Smalling and Lindelof easing Jesus off the ball
...
PEEP! PEEP! WE ARE OFF AGAIN!

Ilkay Gundogan has indeed come on for Vincent Kompany!! Looks like Fernandinho will drop down into the centre-back role. Meanwhile, skull-damaged Marcos Rojo is off and Victor Lindelof is on.
...
We understand Kompany may be withdrawn for Gundogan. Oh Pep,Oh Pep.
...
That was right after Marcos Rojo launched himself at Silva. The love. The warmth. Melt ye weak hearts. MELT!
...
...
PEEP! PEEP! HALFTIME! UNITED 1 - 1 CITY

David Silva crowned City's possession (3/4th of the game the ball was with them) with a scrappy goal that was as uncharacteristic as it was deserved.

Four minutes and a couple of individual mistakes later, though, Rashford pulled his side level with a lovely composed finish... and it's all as you were at Old Trafford
...
49' Lingard smashes into Fernandinho - a running battle that takes center-stage now - and Otamendi's pass out to the advertising hoardings signals City's surprising nervousness
...
Young swing a hopeful punt into the box, bounces off Otamendi's head, off Delph's chest... and Rashford runs on to it, collects it, and calmly slots it past the advancing Ederson.
...
47' GOOOOOOOOOOOAL! MARCUS RASHFORD!
...
46' FOUR MINUTES ADDED ON... Smalling's momentarily brain fade allowed City to counter 4 v 4 but Raheem Sterling's choice is poor and the ball is passed out of play
...
45' Rashford's corner finds Matic all by himself down at the far post, but the Serbian can't control it. Herrera sends it back into the box, and Smalling tries to chest and volley it at goal like he's Zinedine bloody Zidane.

He isn't Zinedine bloody Zidane
...
44' United look to come back immediately, and Valencia's first run forward wins his side their first corner.
...
OH! De Bruyne's corner smashes into Lukaku's forehead, bounces into Silva's path - and the Spaniard is not missing that one from five yards out.
