The first half saw Mohun Bagan establish their dominion as Kamo scored a screamer to give the hosts a one goal lead heading into half time. They could have got more goals if they were more ruthless in front of goal. A comprehensive and overall performance added by Kromah's brace in the second half help the Mariners seal a comfortable 2-0 victory.
Customs, on the other hand, will have work to do as they go back and try to figure out what went wrong.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Calcutta Football League 2017.
Today, we have Mohun Bagan taking on Calcutta Customs Club at the Mohun Bagan ground.
The Mariners have had a perfect record so far in the 2017 CFL, winning each of their three previous games and scoring 11 goals in the process. Ivorian striker Bayi Kamo’s four goals sealed the deal against Patha Chakra last time out as Bagan ran out 5–2 winners to keep the pressure on East Bengal, who have also won four games on the spin.
Sitting three points behind East Bengal, Bagan will look to continue their winning momentum ahead of two big games against Mohammedan Sporting and the Red and Golds in September.
Calcutta Customs, meanwhile, haven’t won a single game this CFL season and their winless run is set to continue if Mohun Bagan’s recent form is anything to go by.
Here is the predicted Mohun Bagan lineup for today, with goalkeeper Shilton Paul a major doubt after coming off nursing a shoulder injury in the game against Patha Chakra.
