After Lesnar made his way to the back, Rollins came to the ring and threw a fit. He then cut a promo about being the man to slay the beast. He then verbally assaulted Kane, who was being tended to by the medics. He then kicked Kane's injured leg, and walked to the back with the title as the show faded.

The crowd chanted "Suplex City", as Rollins signed the contract. Brock then signed the contract as Rollins looked for something under the table. Heyman asked Rollins to keep his hands on the table. Lesnar then turned the table over to find an axe handle. Lesnar then handed the axe handle to Rollins, who tried to attack Lesnar. Lesnar then took Rollins down with a German, but the numbers game caught up. Lesnar finally threw Rollins away and F - 5'd Kane on the floor as Rollins retreated through the crowd. Lesnar then placed Kane's leg on the steps and smashed it with the steps. Lesnar then posed with the title as Kane screamed in pain.

The crowd chanted "Suplex City" as Rollins and Kane looked on. Lesnar and Rollins then sat down for the contract signing, as Heyman cut a promo about the mistakes Rollins made in the past. Heyman then said that everyone wanted to see Brock destroy Rollins, as the crowd popped.

Seth Rollins made his way out, and cut a scathing promo on Brock, and promised to walk out of Battleground as the WWE World Heavyweight champion. Lesnar then made his way out along with Paul Heyman as the crowd popped.

Neville turned the tables and went for multiple roll ups, but Stardust rolled through and rolled Neville up with his tights, picking up the victory. Post match, Stardust celebrated as Neville looked on dejected.

Neville made his way out first, followed by Stardust. The crowd started a "Dusty" chant as Neville offered Stardust a handshake, but Stardust kicked Neville to start off the match. More back and forth action as Stardust worked over Neville.

Stardust cut a promo, and warned Neville that he would be coming for him, and their match is up next!

Backstage, Rollins asked Kane if everything was set up. He then told Kane that the plan better work, otherwise it would be on Kane.

Cena worked over a very tired Rusev, as he picked his spots while Rusev tried to get up using the turnbuckles. Cena went for the AA and thought it'd be easy, but Rusev countered it into the Accolade as the crowd got behind Rusev. Rusev still had the Accolade locked in while Owens ran down and kicked Rusev to cause a DQ. Owens then connected with a pop up powerbomb to Rusev, laying both men down. Owens yelled that it was his title, and he would be the one to beat John Cena! That was a phenomenal segment, and was booked perfectly.

Back from commercial, and Cena took on Rusev for the United States championship. Cena worked over a tired Rusev, as the crowd started the dueling "Let's go Cena/Cena sucks" chant.

Rusev managed to reach the ropes, but Cesaro caught Rusev with a suicide dive and running upper cut. Cesaro went to the top, but Rusev brought him down and connected with a superkick to pick up the victory. Rusev will face John Cena next!

More back and forth action, as Rusev missed with a splash and Cesaro turned it into a crossface! Rusev then planted Cesaro with a turning sidewalk slam as Cesaro kicked out. Rusev connected with a spinning side kick, and then a running senton! Rusev went for the accolade, but Cesaro caught Rusev in the Cesaro swing and trapped Rusev in the sharpshooter!

Back from commercial, and Cesaro had the upper hand after connecting with a springboard spinning elbow and elbows in the corner. Rusev turned the tables by suplexing Cesaro on the ring as both men went down.

Owens was then knocked out of the ring by Rusev, and Owens decided to walk away, saying Cena was his on Sunday as WWE went into commercial.

Cesaro then delivered a standing vertical suplex to Rusev, as the crowd watched in awe! All men went down, but Owens got up first, and slapped Cesaro and Rusev, who went after Owens!

Cesaro took both men down with a double German suplex, as the crowd chanted for Cesaro. More back and forth action, as Cesaro came down on both the superstars with a twisting crossbody over the top rope!

More back and forth action, as the three men put on a classic. The fans started a "This is awesome" chant, as the three men came down with an electric chair turned into a powerbomb! Rusev once again got the upper hand, as he headbutted Owens for a nearfall.

Back from commercial, and it was announced that the trio would be involved in a triple threat match, and the winner would face Cena on the show! All men start brawling, as Rusev got the upper hand.

Cena made his way out for the United States Open Challenge. Rusev answered the challenge, and said he lost the title because of Lana. Kevin Owens then made his way out, and said he would take on Cena and beat him, and Cena can have his rematch at Battleground. Cesaro then made his way out, and the trio got into a scuffle, as Cesaro cleaned house!

R - Truth took on Barrett, who was in control for most of the match. Truth then caught Barrett with the lie detector out of nowhere to pick up the victory! Post match, R - Truth then wore a cape and the plunger scepter and paraded around the ring, as Barrett looked on in disgust.

More back and forth action, as Big E worked over Titus. Woods then tagged in as New Day mocked Titus. All men then came into the ring as New Day took control, but Henry caught Woods with the World's Strongest Slam to pick up the victory for his team.
