55' Yellow for Ahmed Jahouh! Filthy & risky. Jahouh makes a rash challenge in the opposition half. As he draws a foul from Ahmed Jahouh, the HFC player kicks it away. For his tackle, the MCFC player receives a yellow card.

53' GOAAAAAALLL! Bartholomew Ogbeche, the colossal. He scores against his old club & puts HFC in the lead. This goal came against the grain of the game. It's a lovely combo. Ogbeche gets the cross at the box's edge and taps it down. Takes a touch, runs forward, and drills the ball into the net with his right foot.

49' Closeeee! At the near post, Ahmed Jahouh whips in a low cross. Igor Angulo tries but fails to connect. Behind him, Bartholomew Ogbeche who is keeping an eye on the threat & clears it off!

Joao Victor is on the other end of the field, but his initial touch deflects the ball away from him, allowing the MCFC defenders to clear the ball. Following that, a through pass is played, and Bipin Singh is set free on a counterattack, but he takes the ball near the byline and kicks it out for a goal kick.

30' DRINKS! The players are given a moment to rehydrate. So far, the game has been a fascinating one, with both sides appearing to be the better team on the field.

Joao Victor gets up to take the penalty kick and drills it to the goalkeeper's right. Mohammad Nawaz correctly predicts and dives in the appropriate direction, but the force of the shot is too much for him to handle. It's a 1-1 tie.

12' Hands on the head! Hyderabad FC gets a penalty. Joel Chianese wins the ball on the right side of the box and performs well to beat a few defenders. Bipin Singh attempts to depose him but instead knocks him down. There is clear contact, and the referee points to the spot. Luck awaits for HFC?

10' There it is...He sprints inside the box, Bartholomew Ogbeche catches the pass from behind and passes it to his right. The move, however, fails when the Mumbai City FC defenders intervene and clear the ball.

Jahouh is as cool as you want him to be. It's wonderful to expect that kind of start from Mumbai City, the reigning champs. The Islanders have seized an early 1-0 lead and are currently in control, although against the run of play.
