Tanahashi wins the title. He's now an 8-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion. And the first time in almost FOUR YEARS that he's IWGP World Champ! 

This also marks the first time that the title is changing hands in the main event since Wrestle Kingdom 8! Tanahashi won the title that night too. But the IC title and not the Heavyweight title!

Omega manages to land a dragon suplex from the top rope and he starts pressing against Tanahashi. He nearly lands a one winged angel but Tanahashi somehow flips and gets him down. He lands the slingblade and is getting ready to finish it!

Omega has Tanahashi pressed against the ropes and hits a V-Trigger that nearly knocks Tanahashi out. Through sheer will, Tanahashi manages to fight back and hits a body splash to knock Omega down. He hits the HIGH FLY FLOW and OMEGA KICKS OUT! WHAT?!

Omega hits a HIGH FLY FLOW AND TANA KICKS OUT AT ONE! 

Tanahashi tries countering and Omega catches him with a V-Trigger. Omega takes a moment to breathe and the striking exchange begins again, with Tanahashi getting knocked down and eating a close distance V-Trigger that made a THUD

Omega continues the onslaught but gets caught with a dragonscrew from the top turnbuckles! Omega may have tweaked his knees!

Omega begins to fight back and hits a BIG moonsault on Tanahashi, with his back hitting the edge of the ramp!

Kenny Omega brutalizes Tanahashi by suplexing him just away from the commentary table! A commentator even falls down but Omega lifts him up and raises his hand! 

Tanahashi begins to fight back after he set up a table and back in the ring, Tanahashi charges against Omega, catching his counter leg. Omega gets caught with a dragonscrew! Will Tanahashi finally gain momentum?

Omega tries charging at Tanahashi against the railings outside but the former Ace catches him with a dropkick!

Tanahashi is absorbing a lot of punishment but fights back with a series of elbows. Omega still dominates and Tanahashi just isn't able to get it done!

It's a BIG FIGHT FEEL! Kenny Omega's entrance was epic.

They staredown for a long time and Omega presses Tanahashi against the ropes. He tries to taunt him but Tanahashi SLAPS him and begins an onslaught. Omega almost catches him in a one-winged angel but Tanahashi counters himself! Omega manages to get the better of Tanahashi and is now in complete control!

Jericho hits a codebreaker and Naito KICKS OUT AGAIN! Jericho tries to hit him with the title but he misses and gets slammed against the turnbuckles! Naito hits the DESTINO! IT's TWO!! Naito hits him with the belt and then hits the Destino. AND NEW!

NAITO KICKS OUT at TWO! Jericho starts to take out steel chairs and throws them in the ring. He tries to attack Naito but Naito SPIKES HIM WITH A DDT ON THE CHAIRS! He hits the codebreaker ON JERICHO and Y2J still kicks out!!

Jericho counters Naito and locks in the walls of Jericho! Naito manages to escape after a big struggle and then hits the hurricanrana from the ropes! Naito comes close to finish Jericho but isn't able to put him away. Naito is confident but gets caught in a Walls of Jericho! 

Naito escapes by smacking a kendo stick onto his face. He hits the stick on his gut and slams his head again! JERICHO COUNTERS him into a Codebreaker!

Naito faces the onslaught of Jericho and then gets hits by a moonsault. Jericho starts imitating Hulk Hogan and mocking the crowd. Naito fights back and confidently fires off on Jericho. He has him on the turnbuckles and spits on Jericho's face!

Jericho finally gets control and hits him with the switch-kick on the apron. He has Naito right where he wants him and takes the camera, conveniently placing the middle finger in front of the camera. 

He takes him to the commentary table and then spikes Naito with a DDT on the table!

Chris Jericho (c) vs Tetsuya Naito - NO DQ Match for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship

Naito attacks Jericho right off the bat and the action goes outside. The bell finally rings and Naito starts decimating Jericho. He begins the punishment in the ring and throws him against the ropes, propelling him over the top ropes. Naito runs to hit a suicide dive but gets hit on the shoulders with a kendo stick!

Jay White starts countering Okada and nearly catches and finishes him but Okada brilliantly evades and catches him with a dropkick. Now they're attempting finisher after finisher and Okada hits the RAINMAKER! He goes for Rainmaker #2 and Jay White catches him with a switchblade! Okada loses CLEAN! WOW!

Okada jumps on both Gedo and Jay White! Back in the ring, Okada starts ripping White apart, showing White's inexperience. White desperately tries to use a steel chair while the ref is distracted but it FAILS and he runs into Gedo instead!

Okada starts taking control and the crowd goes wild. Jay White has NO answer to Okada!
