90' Lallianzuala Chhangte tries to make a long walk to the dugout but the referee asks him to go from the other end and not waste any time. Edwin Vanspaul replaces him.

87' Another change for CFC as Ninthoinganba Meetel comes in for Rahim Ali. CFC looking to protect the lead now as a midfielder comes in for a forward.

84' Manvir Singh has a chance to put a nice cross inside the box from the left flank but he finds the keeper as Kaith calls and grabs it.

82' Now, Hernan Santana makes way for Sehnaj Singh as NEUFC are looking to level proceedings.

78' As NEUFC looks for an equalizer, they bring in Rochharzela for Suhair Vadakkepeedika.

77' Mirlan Murzaev is done for tonight as he has been replaced by Lukasz Gikiewicz.

74' GOAAAAAAAAAAL! Captain leading from the front and CFC back in he lead. Rahim Ali controls the ball well and unleashes a through ball to the path of Anirudh Thapa. His first touch is delicious and in the gap between two defenders. Thapa gets to the ball before the two players chasing after him, and thumps this one into the back of the net as the keeper can't do anything about it.

73' Vlagyimir Koman has all the time in the world at the right flank as he lobs this ball inside the box. Rahim Ali leaps the highest and wins the header but hits it off the target. A big chance for him and the coach looks unhappy with it.

68' That was a belter from Hernan Santana but this is a pretty good save from Vishal Kaith too. Hernan Santana has the ball way outside the CFC box but he decides to give it a go. He smashes the ball, looking to find the top corner, but Vishal Kaith dives to his right and pushes the ball out for a corner.

67' What a strike from Lalkhawpuimawia but unluckily for him, the ball just zips past the post. He has the ball near the left flank, he takes a touch and then unleashes a curler, aiming for the far post. Vishal Kaith dives to his left too but the ball beats him and the post, to head out for a goal kick.

63' Mirlan Murzaev scored a good goal but this is ruled offside. Rahim Ali is the player who was offside in the build up to the goal, as he provides the final pass to Mirlan Murzaev, who scored, but the linesman raises his flag and the score remains level.

62' Both the sides have their defensive shapes right as none of them are able to find the gap to send in the final ball. The battle is now with the midfielders of both sides as they will have to provide the creativity!

57' They have the ball near the NEUFC box and they are looking to thread their final pass in, but the NEUFC shape is very good, as there are no gaps to be found. Finally, a cross is sent into the box, but it is headed out for a corner by one of the NEUFC defenders.

53' Fortune favors CFC here. Gurjinder Kumar has the ball outside the box and he unleashes a lethal strike. The ball deflects off Slavko Damjanovic's boot and crashes onto the pole and rolls near the right hand side of the box. Lalkhawpuimawia takes the shot but does not find the target!

50' NUEFC equalize due to a goalkeeping error and we are all level here. Mashoor Shereef takes a long throw-in and sends it into the middle. The ball goes towards Suhair Vadakkepeedika but Vishal Kaith has an oops moment as he ventures out too but fails to connect with his punch. The ball takes the body of Suhair Vadakkepeedika and deflects into the back of the net. Against the run of play, NEUFC have levelled things!

50' Provat Lakra has the ball in the right flank and he decides to send it in. The ball has a nice loop as it reaches the CFC box, but the ball has been nicely cleared by one of the CFC defenders.

46' We are back for the second half here. NEUFC will be kicking things off for us in this half. Looks like NEUFC have opted to make two changes at the break as Laldanmawia Ralte and Pragyan Gogoi make way for Manvir Singh and Lalkhawpuimawia.

45' Lallianzuala Chhangte puts a through ball in the right flank for Koman who has a go but the keeper comes forward and blocks the ball out. A brilliant save and he keeps NEUFC in the game.

41' Golazo from Lallianzuala Chhangte! CFC get a free kick near the right flank. They hold the ball in the attacking position. One of the NEUFC defenders wins the ball from CFC, but loses it, just outside the box. Lallianzuala Chhangte with a half-turn hits it with immense power and the ball hits the inner half of the crossbar and sneaks its way into the back of the net. CFC take the lead!

39' Mashoor Shereef wins a throw-in and puts a long ball inside the box. Suhair Vadakkepeedika leaps and heads it towards goal but without much power. Vishal Kaith dives to his left and makes an easy save.

35' Captain on captain and the first yellow card of the game is issued to the skipper of NEUFC! Khassa Camara tries to win the ball in the CFC area as Anirudh Thapa tries to pass it away but instead, Camara fouls him from behind and the referee shows him a yellow card.

34' A good long ball from one of the NEUFC defenders for Chhangte, who charges forward in the right flank but fails to keep the ball inside play.

27' Hernan Santana wins a header in the CFC area and puts it on a plate for Vadakkepeedika, who hits a volley but straight down the throat of the keeper. An easy save for Kaith.

24' Narayan Das with a poor final pass. He has the ball at his feet near the left flank and wants to clip a ball in, but there is too much power on this and the ball zips out of play.

23' Federico Gallego will not be able to continue here as he is stretchered off the field. Patrick Flottmann replaces him.

21' Federico Gallego is at the receiving end of the challenge here. Narayan Das clips the back of Federico Gallego's foot with his right knee and the number 10 of NEUFC goes down. Looks like his knee got caught in the turf too.

17' Federico Gallego is the man being creative here. He has the ball and he slips in a wonderful through ball in the path of Mathias Coureur, who takes a touch, escapes a challenge, but his first touch is way too heavy and Vishal Kaith gathers the ball. A better touch and NEUFC could have been 1-0 up!

14' Lallianzuala Chhangte is released in the right flank. He sprints quickly and chases the ball down, takes a touch or two and cuts inwards. The NEUFC players have fallen back too as Lallianzuala Chhangte tries to trick the keeper, as he drills a low effort to the near post of Subhasish Roy, but the keeper is aware and he gets down quickly to push the ball out for a corner.

13' Laldanmawia Ralte has the ball in the right flank and he looks to send the ball in but his delivery is all wrong as the ball goes straight out of play, for a goal kick.

10' Federico Gallego is standing over this corner for NEUFC, which also happens to be the first one for the team in maroon. He whips in a ball, but it has too much on it, Mashoor Shereef still manages to make some connection with this but the ball trickles out for a goal kick easily.

7' Compared to NEUFC, their counterparts have taken the opposite approach by the looks of things. When NEUFC have the ball in their own half, CFC are holding back and have formed a low block and are defending much deeper.

4' The team donned in all maroon, NEUFC, have started this game with an electrifying presence. They have decided to press high up the pitch and are not allowing CFC to pass the ball around easily.
