14:15 (IST)28 JUL 2021

Pooja will look to continue the good run of form displayed by India's female pugilists. The 30-year-old is in a great position to do so given her recent form!

She will be up against Algeria's Ichrak Chaib (20 years old) in the 75 kg middleweight pre-quarter-finals. Given her experience and skill, Pooja Rani would be the favourite to come through.

On the other hand, Algerian, Ichrak Chaib finished fourth in the 2018 Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires and would look to take confidence from her recent performances.
