India have performed exceptionally well at the 2016 Paralympics and have already won four medals in the form of Mariyappan Thangavelu, Varun Singh Bhati, Deepa Malik and Devendra Jhajharia. Other athletes who have performed well include Suyash Jadhav and Amit Kumar Saroha came close to winning medals.
