This has been brilliant shooting from Italian Massimo Fabbrizi. 75/75 STUNNING
Massimo Fabbrizi has done it! A perfect 25 yet again! The Italian is the only shooter with a 75 in this round. It will be interesting to see how well he does in the second phase of qualifying tomorrow.

Now that the Indians are done for the day, we need to see who finish in the top six on Day 1.
This is yet another disappointing showing from Indian shooters on Day 2 of Rio Olympics and the Trap duo have given themselves big disadvantages going into tomorrow's event.
DAY 1 Score for Indians
Manavjit Singh Sandhu - 68/75
Kynan Chenai - 67/75
Manavjit and Kynan look to be heading towards double digit ranks at the end of Day 1 in the Men's Trap event.
Bad news for Indian fans as Manavjit Singh has slipped to 16th position while Kynan still occupies 18th position.
And he is off the blocks, has scored 3 till now. Will we see another 25 from the Italian ?
Massimo Fabbrizi is yet to shoot in the final round here but still occupies first place. He looks set for a top six spot though.
Edward Ling from Britain has produced some breathtaking shooting in the last round to score a perfect 25. He is on second position now. PHENOMENAL from the Briton
Another couple of points for Manavjit and he moves to 20 for the final round.
Manavjit moving through the paces and has moved on to a score of 18 in the final round. His day is drawing to a close and the Indian will want to end on a high note.
Khaled Almudhaf has slipped into 10th place and has shot 16 in the third round till now. This is not looking good for the man from Kuwait playing under the IOA banner.
Manavjit Singh Sandhu has scored 15 points in the third round here and the day seems to be coming to an end. Can the Indian finish with a flurry to have a chance tomorrow?
The others have started shooting and as a result, Kynan Chenai has dropped back to 19th position with his total score at 60.
CURRENT STANDINGS -
KYNAN CHENAI is racing in the third round as well, he has climbed into 14th place and his current score is 55.
Britain's Edward Ling has overtaken Pellielo and now occupies the second place. He has scored 11 so far in the second round.
World Record holder Giovanni Pellielo seems to be hurrying through his third round and is on to 57 points with 8 scored in the third. He is on second place behind compatriot Massimo Fabbrizi, who is yet to shoot in the third round.
He is back into 14th position now and Manavjit's current score is 50 points. 4 in the third round. He needs to get all 25 points in the third round. Kynan, on the other hand, has moved to 18th position and his final round score is 6.
ANOTHER ONE!!! Manavjit has got off to a bright start in the third round and is on to 49 points now. He has moved to 11th position.
Manavjit has aced his first shot while Kynan has got two in. 46 and 47, respectively.

For those of you who are not following other games, the Indian women's hockey team has drawn its first match against Japan with the score being 2-2. They were reeling behind but made a comeback.
Even if Manavjit does shoot a perfect 25, his score would be 71. If he is to make it to the top six at the end of the first day, he would need at least 5 others to miss multiple shots.
This does seem to be shooting with a purporse. Fabbrizi missed out on goldin the last games and that seems to be driving him on in Rio. The Italian has been perfect and nothing seems to have fazed him.

The two Italians, Massimo Fabbrizi and Giovanni Pellielo lead the field with David Kostelecky of the Czech Republic in third. Only Fabbrizi has hit every target so far.

Set two finally ends. Manavjit and Chenai are 13th and 16th respectively, chances are slim of them making it into the top six even after day 2.
A PERFECT 50! The only shooter to have done it so far. Consistency and precision, this could just be the start of something special for the Italian. Fabbrizi ends set two and there seems to be no catching him.

Brazilian fans still are hopeful of a medal as Roberto Schmits lies in sixth place at the moment and he shouldn't fall any further till the end of the second round.

Manavjit Singh Sandhu still lies in 13th place with a score of 46, he has missed four targets. Kynan Chenai sits in 16th place with a score of 45 and five missed targets.
Spare a thought for the 2012 London champion, Giovanni Cernogoraz of Croatia lies in 23rd spot and it can be safe to say that his Olympic dream of gold is all but over.
While the others keep on hitting the targets, it does seem that the Indian pair would need a miracle if they are to somehow make it to the medal rounds.
The Czech shooter David Kostelecky has slowly moved up and now sits in third place, he has only missed twice in his two sets. Fabbrizi though, is still on a rampage and has hit 37 consecutive targets.
There is no stopping Fabbrizi, the Italian seems to be in the mood to score a maximum 75 today. 34 consecutive targets hit and counting!
Manavjit and Chenai need some luck on their side if they are to make it to the top six. Some of the other shooters have to miss, while the duo have to hit a maximum of 25 from the third set.
The second round of qualifying would take place tomorrow, before the semi-final and the medal rounds take place.
There would be three sets in total and the maximum a shooter can score would be 75. Only Fabbrizi of Italy can achieve this score.
The man who led after the first set, Guarnieri is now sitting below Manavjit in the table. The Colombian is 15th at the moment.
