The last-gasp goal broke the Egyptian fans’ hearts but boy will they be up for the game with their Egyptian superstar Salah in contention to start. Stretching the play will be another thing that Cheryshev will be tasked to do and in that case, the passing of Gazinsky and Zobnin will be key.
For Egypt, there’s no one more important than Salah. They looked toothless last time out and Salah’s ability to take on more than one player could create the space for the likes of Mohsen and El Said to run into. Lest we forget, Salah doesn’t need a second invitation to shoot, which he can.
