The quarterfinals of the 82nd Senior National Badminton Championships start on Monday and this year, they will feature the country's top players go head-to-head against each other. The top seed in the men's singles is Srikanth Kidambi, who is in the form of his life, having won four Superseries titles this year and in the women's singles, PV Sindhu is the number one seed.

Following her is veteran Saina Nehwal, who is the second seed and will look to secure a place in the last four, as she takes on Vrushali G. in her first match of the tournament. The World No. 11 will be coming into the game off the back off a pre-quarterfinal finish at the French Open, bowing out to Akane Yamaguchi in straight games.
