Jorgensen went up 14-13 with some superb body shots before Sameer came up with a powerful jump smash to get a point. However, he could not continue the momentum any more as the Dane has come back for 17-14
The crowd goes delirious with joy as Verma comes back for 12-12 and then even gets the lead for 13-12
The two-point gap continues with the Dane now leading 12-10.
Sameer took four consecutive points after the break to go as close as 9-11 as the Dane lost his sharpness.

Much to the delight of the crowd, Sameer is putting up a mind-blowing display of defence and retrieval so much so that even Jorgensen's racquet got broken trying to keep up pace with him. Verma went up 18-17 and that rattled the Dane who lost four straight points to trail 17-20.
Sameer's retrieval skills are on point as the shuttle beautifully floats over the net to land on the line for 16-16
