MS Dhoni's thunderous hit floors video analyst during practice
Dhoni during practice

MS Dhoni during the practice sessionIndian team's first practice session before the second ODI turned out to be a nightmare for the video analyst after he was sent packing by Indian batsman-wicketkeeper MS Dhoni. While the analyst was busy recording the practice shots of batsmen, he paid no heed to the potential damage of these hits on the digital equipment. When Dhoni entered the nets to practice, he faced a convenient delivery and decided to greet it with a straight drive. What came next was completely unexpected. The ball went straight in the direction of the on-field video camera and thumped its stand. The stand fell down before it could be held by anyone. No damage to the camera was recorded but it was rapidly put back in its case. It is safe to say that the video analyst will put in a lot of thought before bringing the camera on the field while Dhoni is on strike.
