S Sreesanth, who has been fighting to make a comeback to international cricket donated money to the world cup winning Indian team who the blind world cup which was held in India recently. Sreesanth was recently spotted in Oman to inaugurate a few jewellery stores, and he donated the money he received from the event to the blind team.
“I was also invited by a local club (not affiliated to Oman Cricket) to bowl at a few batsmen and the young men were impressed when I spoke on the game,” Sreesanth was quoted as saying in Mid-Day.
"I won’t disclose the figure I received for the promotional event, but whatever I have earned will be donated to India’s blind team,” he said.
Sreesanth was banned from international cricket by the BCCI after his alleged involvement in the spot-fixing scandal of 2013.
