WWE reportedly puts in a bid to buy TNA:
It was reported that Billy Corgan recently wanted to by TNA Wrestling and since August, was made the President of TNA following a lengthy process which concluded with the equity stakes being split between Corgan, Dixie Carter, Aroluxe Marketing and The Fight Network. The money raised from the stake owners was used to fund the regular TV Tapings.
It is now being reported that WWE has put in a bid along with Sinclair Broadcasting Group which is the parent company of ROH. It is unlikely that WWE has more than $2.5 in their budget for the endeavor while TNA is currently valued at around $40 million in the market. If WWE ends up buying TNA, it is likely that they will shut down the promotion and retain the old tapings in their online archives at WWE.com.

WWE allegedly covered up Randy Orton injury:
At WWE SummerSlam, Randy Orton returned from a long hiatus due to a shoulder injury he had suffered, only to be greeted by a vicious pummeling from Brock Lesnar who he was booked with for the main event of the night. Reports are now saying that Orton had suffered a concussion as Lesnar tried to bust him open with his elbow and WWE downplayed the injury in an attempt to cover it up from the fans and critics who were already questioning Lesnar’s position with the brand to the effect that he never faces any consequences for breaking WWE’s own rules for talent wellness. Orton reportedly downplayed the injury even to those close to him to help WWE cover up the concussion.
WWE Superstar Emma Returns From Injury At Friday Night’s Live Event In Louisville:
As we noted earlier this week, Emma was expected to be back on the road soon with WWE. She’s been out of action with a back issue that required surgery. She returned at the live event in Louisville on Friday night as the referee for a six-women’s tag team match between Sasha Banks, Bayley and Alicia Fox against Charlotte, Nia Jax and Dana Brooke.
The babyfaces got the win. This was a Raw-branded live event so that would seem to indicate that Emma will be on the Raw brand going forward. There are talent depth issues on both brands and Emma’s return will help with those problems on the women’s side. She has a ready-made storyline with Charlotte because they were pushing the idea of having Dana Brooke as her manager/valet at ringside before Emma was sidelined with her injury.
