Don Bass loses battle with cancerA veteran name in pro wrestling circles, Don Bass, unfortunately, passed away due to cancer at the age of 70. According to reports, Bass was no stranger to recurring heath issues and that he was informed about the cancer diagnosis weeks before his sad demise.Having worked during the 70's right up until the territorial era, Bass wrestled under various gimmicks and was part of tag teams such as The Interns, a revamped version of The Assassins, Fire and Flame and The A-Team.Bass tasted success being part of a heel tag team along with his brother, Ron Bass. The manager of the team was none other than their mother, Maw Bass, who was known to smack opponents with her loaded purse to steal a win for the team, collectively known as the Bass Family.Our heartfelt condolences go out to Don Bass's family and friends.
