Good morning and welcome to the Sportskeeda liveblog. World No. 82 Sourabh Varma has been the last Indian standing at the Chinese Taipei Masters for some time following the early exits of his brother Sameer, Shreyansh Jaiswal and Rahul Yadav Chittaboina. Varma has been very impressive throughout the tournament and upset the top seed and World No. 22 Hsu Jen Hao in the semi-finals yesterday.
The reason cited for Liew's retirement is shoulder injury. We wish him a speedy recovery.
