Hello and Welcome to Sportskeeda's LIVE Coverage of the Toyota Yaris LaLiga World. Next up is: Girona FC vs Melbourne City FC.

17:10 (IST)27 JUL 2018

Melbourne City come into their 2nd game of the 3-nation Toyota Yaris LaLiga World with a mammoth 6-0 win over Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters. However, Melbourne City are well aware that Girona are a completely different team and it won't be easy to get past the resilient LaLiga side.

The City Blues were just lethal up front against Kerala and completely dominated them, scoring goals almost at will. They will look to exhibit the same attacking brand of football like they did against Kerala as they face the La Liga outfits. Meanwhile, Girona are also an extremely balanced unit and won't just sit back, ensuring they go all out against the Sky Blue outfits.

Girona FC, being the first LaLiga side to tour India, finished a respectable 10th in the 2017-18 La Liga season. Defeating the Los Galacticos 2-1 in the league was their key highlight of the season. They also managed to eke out two draws against Atletico Madrid.

The upcoming match promises to be an exhilarating one as the two giants collide. Get ready for some riveting action!
