So, that is all from us. Was a pleasure bringing to you all the action. Will be back with the second match. See you.. Take care.
...
Sunil Narine is the MAN OF THE MATCH: "It is good being back, something I enjoy. It is a blessing to be back, thankful to God for blessing me with the skills. I was nervous. I do not think there is any secret, have faith in your abilities. It is difficult to sit back and watch cricket. I have changed my action by almost 70-80 percent. I have to get used it."
...
Jason Holder: "Nice to start the tournament with a win. We bowled well and assesed the conditions well. Credit to Sunil Narine. Polly too played a brilliant innings at the end. Pleasing as a captain, we were composed. These two teams are tough teams, we have to exploit these conditions. Pollard played his game, backed his strength."
...
AB de Villiers: "We were short with the bat. We laid a good foundation, 220 was reachable, unfortunately lost 30-40 runs in the end. Lessons learnt. Towards the end we had a nice partnership, but not too many after Rillee and myself and that cost us the game. The track was tough to play on. It was very slow, slower than the IPL tracks, but no excuses. "
