The Lioness shows great sportsmanship as she bows and thanks Tate. A humble champion in tears of joy.

Now we have four women fighters who have held the title in the UFC women's bantamweight division.

IT IS ALL OVER! AMANDA NUNES BECOMES THE FIRST BRAZILIAN UFC WOMEN'S BANTAMWEIGHT CHAMPION!

The champion in in trouble as Nunes has her back. The Lioness successfully secures a choke as Tate goes down.

Nunes hurts Tate with perfect combination of punches. Tate is in trouble as she begins to bleed.

Nunes tries to begin with a kick to the leg but is avoided by Tate. Tate attempts a takedown but Nunes scrambles up to her feet.

The match begins. They touch gloves and here we go.

Tate is accompanied by her boyfriend Bryan Caraway. Looks like she has complete support by her partner.

Miesha Tate makes her way to the Octagon as she looks prepared to make her first defence of her title.

If everything goes well for Nunes, the Lioness will become the first Brazilian UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion.

Brock Lesnar wins by unanimous decision.

Time for the official decision.

Last few seconds in the round, Lesnar gives everything he has. They go to the distance.

Lesnar now able to mount Hunt and punches the Super Samoan. Doesn't look like Hunt has anything left in him as the fight nears the end.

Hunt unable to do anything effective as he tries to hang in for his dear life. Lesnar still maintains the dominant position and continues his attack.

Round 3 Lesnar attemps a takedown and scores it. He begin to pound on Hunt from side mount position.

Uneventful Round 2. Hard to give this round to either fighter.

Mark Hunt seems to be stalking Lesnar now, walking him down and attempting to connect. Thus far, nothing notable this round.

Second round begins and both men are reluctant to engage, as they circle each other without committing. Brock attempts a takedown but Hunt stuffs it.

Brock Lesnar is keeping Hunt down with his massive frame and landing power shots. Hunt gets back up briefly, but Brock takes him down again! This fight isn't going the way many thought it would. First round to Brock Lesnar!

Brock lands a nice leg kick and follows up with a takedown, but Hunt gets right back up. Brock presses him against the cage and looks to take him down again

The fight gets underway! Brock seems to be wary of Hunt's punching power, and is maintaining distance and circling

Brock Lesnar comes out to Metallica's Enter Sandman! That's a surprise!

Mark Hunt makes his way out. Lesnar is expected to come out to his WWE theme music. Sick.

Cormier takes the fight 30-26 on all three judges' cards, but the true winner here is Anderson Silva for surviving a fight against a much heavier man on just 2 days notice. Truly a sign of greatness.

Cormier lands a nice left hook. But Silva kicks Cormier to the body that hurts him! He looks to swarm him as DC goes on the defensive, but Cormier hugs him out for the final 30 seconds to limit damage as the crowd is prevented from witnessing a unlikely shock result.

Cormier smothering Silva, but not landing nearly enough to finish it. John McCarthy stands them up, as the crowd pops. Can Silva make a statement in the last 2 minutes of the fight?

Round 3, as Anderson Silva looks a little more active, but runs into a nice right hand by Cormier. DC then takes Anderson down as the crowd boos viciously. Cormier isn't willing to stand and trade with a 48-hour Anderson Silva, and the crowd isn't buying it.

Anderson tries to sweep Cormier, but to no avail. Thankfully, John McCarthy stands them up. Anderson ends the round on the feet by landing a few nice kicks and an elbow to boot. Nothing too substantial, but it gets the crowd going.

Would survival be a victory in itself for Anderson in this fight? Certainly seems that way. DC manages to land a few short sharp elbows but plenty of life still left in Anderson.

Round 2 starts and Anderson comes out swinging. DC quickly catches his leg and puts him on the ground, as the crowd boos. DC is in half guard yet again, as he postures up and tries to ground him out. Anderson prevents that by holding DC's head to his chest.

Daniel postures up and lands a big punch, but Anderson seems to regain a measure of control to prevent too much harm from DC. The first round gets over, and Anderson makes it out without taking too much damage.

Silva's half guard is still holding up, but just. He's completely on the defensive to avoid taking too much damage.

DC alternates between body and head, and lands a few heavy elbows from the top position. Anderson can't seem to buckle DC's weight off him

Anderson looks to circle away, but DC closes the distance and takes him down easily. Silva looks to hold on to him, but he does not want to be there.

And, the fight gets underway, with John McCarthy in charge of the Octagon

Silva looks out of shape, but hey, what can you expect for a last minute replacement? Major props to Anderson to take a fight in the last minute against a elite wrestler in a weightclass above. It is these actions that truly define the greatness of a fighter.
