Disappointment on the faces of the Quick Guns as they have been knocked out of the tournament courtesy of a splendid performance by the Yoddhas. It was pretty even-stevens going into the second innings, where an absolute onslaught from the Yoddhas while attacking completely turned the tide in their favour. They assumed a massive lead and it would have taken something exceptional from the Quick Guns to win this contest. Was not to be in the end and it is the Yoddhas who march into Qualifier 2, where they will meet the winner of Qualifier 1.

7' A review has been taken by the Quick Guns as they believe there was a touch there which was not granted. Review successful! There was a touch there indeed and it is Rohan who departs courtesy of a touch from Anand Kumar.

A comprehensive onslaught from the Yoddhas and the Quick Guns have come up short against it. They depended a lot on Ramji Kashyap, who could not deliver the good this time around in the defense department. They crumbled like a pack of cards and in the end, conceded an all out as well! A massive 33-point lead for the Yoddhas and it is their game to lose from here on! The Quick Guns will have to put in an exceptional performance here to seal this game.

7' Just at the stroke of the buzzer, the Wazir, Sachin Bhargo, flies through the air and gets in a sky dive on Jeevith Rao.

6' Runs out of steam and in the end, Adarsh Mohite gets in a running touch on P Anand Kumar, who was just found to be a touch slow against the attacker.

A slender one point lead for the Quick Guns going into the second innings and it perhaps hasn't been the best of shows from the Chennai outfit in the attacking department. Plenty of directional fouls and early rises, especially by Madan, which were pretty avoidable, would have fetched them some more points. The decision to not go for the Power Play first up might also be a questionable one. As for the Yoddhas, they have covered up a touch after not attacking to the best of their capabilities. They will look forward to attacking better come Turn 3 and the fate of the match might very well get decided in the upcoming turn.

7' Cleverly follows him in the cross lane, takes a direction and puts in a sky dive, does the skipper to dismiss Prajwal KH.

Batch 4 of the Yoddhas comes to the mat now with just over a minute and a half to play.

Batch 3 of the Yoddhas takes the mat. They are starting off with a star-filled batch, consisting of Pratik Waikar, Deepak Madhav and Avdhut Patil. No sign of the Power Play from the Quick Guns though.

It will perhaps be the Quick Guns who will be the happier side going into Turn 2. They have defended superbly. Even the batches that did not get a Dream Run ensured that they were on the mat for a substantial amount of time. Telugu Yoddhas have put in sky dives and pole dives, and the bonus points have gone a long way considering that they dismissed only seven defenders in the seven minutes. It was the batch of Ramji Kashyap, Amit Patil and Madan who did all the damage. Can they follow it up with a strong performance in the attack as well?
