Whew! What a fantastic game of Kho Kho we've had! Gujarat winning the game in the end but it has certainly not been smooth sailing for them. The Juggernauts giving a tough fight to the Giants and they will perhaps regret not going as hard as they would have wanted to in the first innings! In the end, the Giants have held their nerve and extend their unbeaten run.

7' A sky dive in the cross lane by Pokarde and Mahesh is the victim of it! And the Giants have won another game by the skin of their teeth!

7' Batch 4 does well to survive for a bit but in the end, a pole dive sends back Santra.

6' Despite the best efforts of Dilip, he is tagged by the attackers in the cross lane, failing to change his direction. Another batch gets eliminated and the only hope for the Juggernauts now will be to run the clock down without losing any more defenders.

4' A pole dive from Aniket Pote sends back Dinesh Naik followed closely by another pole dive which gets the better of Dipesh More in the next minute.

4' A comfortable running touch in the end as the defender fails to change the course of his running as quickly as he would have liked to!

The Juggernauts have played some good kho kho in this turn but they will be going into the final turn with a slender lead of 23 points, which can be wiped off pretty quickly in a turn. However, some good defense by the Juggernauts might just see them emerge on top in this encounter. It is going right down the live wire!

7' A lengthy chase after the Giants defenders finally bears fruit as a dive gets the better of him. However, it does not qualify as a sky dive.

Batch 3 of the Giants makes their way to the middle now and they are certainly causing a little trouble for the Juggernauts.

7' A dive, after the relentless pursuit of Akshay, sees him get touched and Batch 1 of the Giants is eliminated.

5' An outstanding sky dive from one of the Wazirs gets the better of Pokarde and shortly after, Mareppa is tagged by one of the attackers.

The Juggernauts have opted for the Power Play as Batch 1 of the Giants make their way to the middle.

4' A sky dive gets the better of Pote, who hobbles back to the bench. Worrying signs for the Giants indeed. They will certainly not want to lose one of their star players here!

4' The Wazir puts in a dive, sending back another defender and it is Aniket Pote who is left in the middle once again.

2' Batch 2 of the Giants is in now and a touch has been claimed on Sagar straightaway. The crowd chants 'out, out'. Well, they are certainly favouring the Juggernauts here it would seem. The Juggernauts have reviewed it and the review is successful! A sky dive and another three points get added to the their tally as Sagar departs. The crowd was right all along.

2' A couple of sky dives get the better of the remaining two defenders in the batch. The Giants are crumbling under pressure here!

1' A smart move by the Juggernauts gets the better of the defender as he gets stuck in the tramline, wondering where to make his move.

HALF TIME: Gujarat Giants 26-25 Odisha Juggernauts

Well, only a point to separate the two sides and it is even-stevens going into the second innings. Although Gujarat might seem to be the better side in this contest, the Juggernauts have done superbly well to keep the Giants at bay. It will be interesting to see which side finishes on top. Or are we in for our first tie of the season?

7' Batch 3 manages to play out all the remaining time in the contest.

5' Jagganath Das gets another couple of points for his side as a running touch on Santra is successful.

The Juggernauts have sent in Batch 4 now instead of Batch 3.

4' A sky dive from Jaggannath Das on the final defender of Batch 2, Dilip, has reduced the gap between there two teams to just three points with well over three minutes to play!

3' Aniket Pote has claimed a touch on the defender and it has been granted by the umpire as well! However, the defender reviews and it is successful as well! NOT OUT is the decision in the end!

3' With the Wazir on his tail, the Juggernauts defender, Dipesh More, steps into the lobby all by himself and has to make his way back! Three points added to the Giants' tally! Perhaps the first self-out of the tournament!

2' Nilesh Patil gets in the action now as a sky dive from him sends back the final defender of Batch 1, Murmu. Gujarat closing in on the lead now!

2' Aniket Pote is at it once again as the defender is flummoxed, allowing a simple touch on him.

1' Turn 2 is underway and the Giants strike right away, with Aniket Pote getting the better of Gowtham with a pole dive!

The Giants, after what seemed like some early nerves, have done brilliantly to make a comeback in this contest. After losing the first batch early, the second batch made a bit of an impact, with Aniket Pote stealing the show again. However, it was Suyash Gargate from Batch 3 who did the most damage to the Juggernauts as he fetched a couple of defense bonuses for the Giants. Will be exciting to watch how Turn 2 transpires as it will fog a long way in deciding the outcome of this game!

7' The fourth batch manages to run the clock down and not concede any points.

7' With just over ten seconds left, Suyash is tagged by the Juggernauts attacker and that will bring an end to what has been a terrific run by Batch 3!

7' DREAM RUN! A defender of bonus of two points is granted to the Giants for lasting two and a half minutes and since the final defender survives for another thirty seconds, another couple of points are added!

6' A brilliant sky dive and it is Abhinandan Patil who has to depart. Mahesha P is the one to do the damage yet again.

5' Unfortunate for Nilesh Patil as he trips and falls, allowing a simple touch to be executed on him by his namesake, Nilesh Jadhav.
