Game, set and match!! Real Madrid turn around a 2-0 deficit to come back and win 3-2. Brilliant stuff from Los Blancos and Zidane and it's astonishing at the amount of fighting spirit that they have. However all said and done, Villarreal deserve their fair share of praise despite a poor second half..

90+3' Chance!!! Carvajal drills in a low cross towards Alvaro Morata but the Spaniard can't find the back of the net and his shot is wide!! That could have ended the game!!

90+2' Villarreal with the ball as they stride forward with a few short quick passes. They've struggled to find an opening during this second half and it looks like their game is over..

A Brilliant ball right down the middle by Bruno Soriano and Bakambu out-muscles Ramos and makes no mistake in making it 2-0!!

A fascinating game of football so far, but the injury of Sergio Asenjo was the worst possible thing that could have happened to the home side.

The Yellow Submarines have defended and attacked well when required putting Los Blancos under a lot of pressure. They've also somehow managed to keep the infamous BBC combination relatively quiet with some excellent defending!!!

Halftime and the sides go into the half goalless. Madrid had the final say of the half after short sharp passes help Benzema break into the box but Fernandez pounces on the ball!!

45+2' Free kick as Ronaldo goes down with the lightess of touches. Kroos takes the kick but Pepe is caught offside and Ronaldo looks dejected. The Portuguese man looked like he wanted to smack it into the net!!

45' Halftime is still ways off after three minutes of extra time has been added on. Villarreal are on the counter and it's Samu Castillejo who nutmegs Pepe but Marcelo sprints back just in time and intercepts the pass!!

44' Samu Castillejo has been sensational so far and is causing real problems for Madrid, and he puts in another cross which is mishit and out for a goalkick!!

43' Villarreal have seen more off the ball so far with over 57% possession but they haven't made much off it.

40' This has been Villarreal's game for the last twenty minutes or so but they've failed to break either Navas or the Madrid back four!! Less than five minutes until half time

38' Another period of sustained possession by the home side before Castillejo makes use of his close control and gets away from two Madrid defenders only to run into Ramos and the ball goes for another corner!! It's a good corner but the header goes no where but up before it's cleared towards Fernandez.

36' Carvajal chases after a brilliant pass from Modric and plays the ball in towards Benzema, who's shot lands tamely into the substitute Fernandez's hands!!
