Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the WAFF Championship as India U16 boys get ready to face off against Asian giants Japan at the Amman International Stadium in Amman, Jordan.

India U-16 boys will continue their WAFF Championship sojourn as they take on Asian giants Japan U-16 at the Amman International Stadium, Jordan.

The Indian U16 football team is currently on an overseas exposure Tour organized by the All India Football Federation in close association with the Sports Authority of India.

The colts acquired a better understanding with each other after playing a bunch of matches on the recently concluded China Tour where they faced DPR Korea, Thailand and China last month.

The Indian team started on a strong note when they beat Jordan in their first match with a 4-0 scoreline with Vikram Kumar scoring a hat-trick.

The tournament consists of sides who have qualified for the AFC U-16 Championship including the defending champion Iraq.
