A couple of tweets before we end this one.

FULL-TIME! Wales 0 England 3. A comfortable win for England after they scored thrice in the second half with Marcus Rashford scoring two. Phil Foden with the other one. England finish as the group winners. Wales were poor and are officially knocked out.

John Stones has a great chance to add a fourth but awkwardly skies it over from very close range.

Another chance as Bellingham on the left shoots straight at Ward and then his follow-up is turned wide by Foden with the goalkeeper beaten.

No hat-trick for Marcus Rashford as he is replaced by Jack Grealish. Rashford gets a standing ovation though.

Here come England again - Callum Wilson feeds Rashford on the right, but Ward saves it with his feet.

That Rashford second goal was England's 100th goal scored in World Cup finals.

England make another change - Luke Shaw off, Kieran Trippier on.

With the game safe and qualification almost secured, England make a triple change: Harry Kane for Callum Wilson. Kyle Walker's return from injury is over too, with Trent Alexander-Arnold replacing him. Kalvin Phillips comes on as well. Declan Rice goes off.

Wales threaten with Dan James curling one just wide of the far post and then Kieffer Moore shooting - with the help of a deflection from Maguire - which Pickford does well to push it away. That was going in.

A half-time substitution for Wales - Gareth Bale is off and Brennan Johnson is on.

Second half begins.

HALF-TIME! Wales 0 England 0. Boring half with Wales sitting deep and absorbing all the pressure from England. Wales did not create much and England just had the one shot on target. Rashford's was the best chance of the half but was smothered by Ward.

Joe Allen gets the ball on the inside-right channel and cuts in to fire the left-footed shot well over.

A corner to the back stick and Stones gets up and floats the header across goal but an easy catch for Ward.

England win the ball in midfield and then Foden and Kane release Rashford on the left but his cross with three waiting in the middle is cut out by the right-back.

Now Rashford tries the scissor-kick ala Richarlison but skews it well wide.

Almost a dream goal from England. It's Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden. The former with dazzling feet and the latter on the spin fires his left-footed shot well over.

Neco Williams is off and on comes Connor Roberts - it's a concussion sub, following the protocols. So both teams will now have 6 substitutions.

Wales are happy defending and are parking the bus with a back four and two midfielders in front of them. It's becoming very difficult for England to break that defensive wall.

Wales manager Rob Page had this to say pre-match:

"We've worked so hard to get into this position," said Page.

"My frustration and disappointment for the players is that we've shown nowhere near the levels of performance that have got us to this World Cup. That's what really disappoints me.

" We've picked them up, we've addressed it, we've got to draw a line under it, the last performance.

"Irrespective of the other results, whether we go home or whether we go through, we have to give a performance that our supporters can be proud of.

"We want to react in a positive manner and I'll pick a team that'll go out and give everything to the cause."

If England draw to Wales and the USA beat Iran by at least four goals, the USA will finish top of the group, with England in second.

If England lose to Wales and the USA beat Iran, USA finish top of the group and England qualify second.

Gareth Southgate wants to find the right formula against Wales and says "We have to balance freshness with stability and that's always a decision you're making when picking a team. We have a chance to win the group with a positive result," the England manager said."There's a lot resting on the game for both teams. Our performance is the key."

One man who has come in for criticism has been Gareth Bale, who has been not at his best. But Bale said he "does not feel responsibility" to carry the side to victory.

Talking pre-match here's what he said: "We're a team. We're a nation and we work hard for each other. We need to deliver as a team, it's not one person that needs to do anything," Bale said.

"Of course we'd have loved to be winning and doing a lot better but the reality is, football is hard. If it was that easy, we'd be favourites to win the World Cup."

Tuesday's task will certainly not be easy but Bale has hope that Wales can cause an upset against their local rivals.

"Everyone has weaknesses," he added. "We know how difficult it will be. England are a very good team.

"They're one of the favourites to win the tournament. We are under no illusions it will be hard. There's been a few shocks in the tournament already and there's no reason why we can't do the same."

Coming to Wales, they started with a 1-1 draw against USA. They went 0-1 down before a late Gareth Bale penalty rescued them. But they slumped to a 0-2 loss against Iran as the Asian side scored twice late on. Wales' goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey sent off for a rash challenge. That was the first red card of the tournament as well. The loss has put the pressure on Wales going into their must-win game against England.
