Cruiserweight Title match: Brian Kendrick (champion) vs. Rich Swann 


Brian Kendrick makes his entrance first. A promo of the build-up to this match airs and talks about Rich Swann's life and history. Swann talks about bringing happiness and joy to the WWE Universe, he also mentions having wrestled all over the world and says that he was one of the, if not the best Cruiserweight to step into a WWE ring.
 
Rich Swann makes his entrance. Kendrick doesn't look amused with all the dancing and smiling by Rich Swann. The two men get introduced in the ring.
 
The two shake hands and start things off by locking horns. Kendrick locks Swann's arm behind his back but Swann reverses it into a wrist lock instead. Kendrick reverses it into a wrist lock of his own. Swann attempts to fight back and gets out of it by putting Kendrick in a headlock.
 
Kendrick pushes Swann off and Irish whips him but Swann ends up connecting with a drop kick on Kendrick instead after landing a somersault. Swann covers Kendrick for the pin but Kendrick kicks out. He puts Kendrick in a headlock.
 
Kendrick gets out of the headlock and connects with a big boot. Kendrick then runs into a downed Swann in the corner and strikes him with a series of forearms. Swann responds by connecting with a series of chops. A modified powerbomb by Swann then connects on Kendrick.
 
Swann tries to pull Kendrick for another move but Kendrick powers out of it. After a brief exchange of offence and a roll-up attempt by Swann, Kendrick kicks out and retreats outside the ring.
 
Swann hits Kendrick with a dropkick at ringside and further connects with a somersault off the barricade. Realising that Kendrick might get counted out, Swann takes him back inside the ring. Kendrick and Swann trade punches with Swann getting the upper hand but Kendrick suplexes Swann. Kendrick then connects the Captain's Hook but Swann powers out by holding the ropes.
 
Kendrick then tries to go for a Dragon Suplex but Swann lands on his feet and connects with a Belly to back suplex on Kendrick instead. Kendrick lands on his neck. Swann stalks him for a move and eventually runs in, Kendrick appears to reverse it but Swann connects anyway.
 
The two go to the middle turnbuckle, with Swann leading Kendrick up. Kendrick punches Swann in the gut several times and drives his head into the top turnbuckle. Swann bounces off the turnbuckle, hits his head on the apron and lands outside the ring. The referee begins to count Swann out. Swann makes it back to the ring after nearly being counted out.
 
Kendrick hits Swann with another Suplex. A pin attempt sees Swann kick out. Kendrick connects with a Dragon Suplex and then tries putting Swann in a Captain's hook. Swann fights out of it. Kendrick then puts Swann in a Straight jacket submission hold, tying his own arms against his neck. Swann struggles.
 
Swann connects with a modified Michinoku Driver after powering out of the hold and pins Brian Kendrick. Kendrick kicks out. Kendrick runs in to a recovering Swann but Swann lands a superkick.
 
Swann tries to go for a standing 450 splash but Kendrick catches him with his knees. Kendrick locks in the Captain's Hook but Swann makes it to the ropes yet again. Swann attempts to throw Kendrick outside but Kendrick manages to stay on the apron. The two head to the middle rope.
 
Kendrick fights back and connects with a Suplex. He covers Swann for the pin but Swann kicks out.
 
Swann connects with a spinning heel kick and follows it up with two more. He then pins Brian Kendrick for the pin and the win.
 
Result: 'The Outlandish' Rich Swann defeats Brian Kendrick via Pinfall and is the NEW Cruiserweight Champion

After the match, Rich Swann is interviewed in the ring. The crowd chants 'You deserve it', Swann says that he represents the WWE Universe. He says that there was one woman he'd like to thank and that was his late mother. He dedicates the victory to his mom and says that she was there with them in spirit. 

Kendrick is also interviewed and says that 'Heartbreaking' didn't begin to describe it. He says that he wasn't just wrestling Rich Swann but TJ Perkins messed him up with mind games as well.

Match: Ariya Daivari vs. Jack Gallagher


Ariya Daivari makes his entrance first. He is followed by Jack Gallagher, the 'extraordinary gentleman'. The two shake hands in the middle of the ring, with Daivari reluctantly doing so.
 
The match begins with Ariya Daivari locking down Gallagher's wrist. Gallagher attempts to fight back and does so by reversing the move into a wrist lock for Daivari instead. Gallagher then proceeds to lock down Daivari's arm with his leg and gloats.
 
Gallagher goes on to further lock down Daivari's other arm as well. Daivari eventually makes it out of the multiple holds and reverses another attempt by Gallagher at a wrist lock and puts him in a headlock.
 
Gallagher escapes the headlock with a hand-stand. Gallagher then suspends himself upside down on the top turnbuckle and makes it back to the match by putting Ariya Daivari into a shoulder hold. Gallagher then proceeds to tie Daivari's arms and legs up together and leaves him struggling in the middle of the ring as Daivari can't seem to escape.
 
Gallagher then kicks Daivari, knocking him over and finally getting out of the knot. Daivari knocks Gallagher out of the ring and finally starts beating him down.

Daivari puts Gallagher in a headlock but Gallagher makes it out of it and connects with a series of standing dropkicks. Gallagher then connects with a crossbody and covers Daivari for the pin but Daivari kicks out.
 
Gallagher then locks Daivari's wrist again but Daivari pushes him off. Gallagher headbutts Daivari, responding to Daivari's rolling elbow. Gallagher then connects with a running dropkick.
 
Gallagher covers Daivari and pins him for the win.
 
Result: Jack Gallagher defeats Ariya Daivari via Pinfall

After the match, a promo for Lince Dorado airs, talking about his in-ring style and his origins.

Segment: Brian Kendrick interviewed backstage


Brian Kendrick asks the interviewer to bet everything on him for the Rich Swann match. Kendrick calls Rich Swann new to the game and says that Swann was bound to make a mistake due to his inexperience. 

Kendrick is asked about TJ Perkins, and TJ Perkins walks in and informs Kendrick that he will be following Kendrick regardless of what happened to him in the title match later in the night. Perkins then wishes Kendrick good luck and walks off.
