Eddy Thorpe closes out the year with a big win over Dijak. Will it set Hard Justice off or force him to finally respect Thorpe?

Noam Dar defeats Josh Briggs by Disqualification

Cora Jade defeats Karmen Petrovic by pin.

Riley Osborne defeats Lexis King by pin.

Bron Breakker defeats Nathan Frazer by pin.

Oba Femi defeats Tavion Heights by pin.

Joe Gacy defeats Joe Coffey by pin.

Eddy Thorpe defeats Dijak by Knockout.

We cut quickly to a face-to-face meeting between Trick Williams and Ilja Dragunov. Williams says they can push the match back if Ilja wants.

Ilja says, "Nothing and no one can stop me" before signing the contract for New Year's Evil. They shake hands to end the show.

The referee calls the match when Dijak doesn't respond.

Result - Eddy Thorpe defeats Dijak by Knockout.

Eddy jumps on his back again with another rear naked choke. Dijak tries to break out of it by running into the ring apron and ringpost but Thorpe holds on. Dijak climbs the steel steps but he starts to fade. Thorpe reverses his positions and DDTs Dijak through the announce table.

Dijak goes for a powerbomb. He tells the recruits to move but Thorpe counters it into headscissors that send Dijak to the floor. Thorpe hits a flying elbow on the ground. He adds another DDT on the floor. The ref checks on Dijak and before he makes the call for the end, Dijak grabs him by the neck and says "don't stop it."

Dijak takes off his belt as Thorpe enters the ring. Thorpe stops the punch before hitting an Impaler DDT. Dijak is still in it. Thorpe picks up the belt and starts whipping the big man with it. Thorpe locks in another rear naked choke but Dijak breaks out of it by running Thorpe into the top of the ringpost.

Dijak lands the big boot for a second time but Thorpe lands an Enzuguiri when Dijak goes for a third kick. Thorpe tries to land a toss on Thorpe to the outside of the ring but Dijak lands on his feet. He hits Feast Your Eyes on the outside of the ring. The ref checks on Thorpe and says he's okay. Dijak then grabs two random PC recruits and bashes them. Thorpe reaches his feet again. He hits a back bodydrop on the apron.

Dijak lands a Cannonball on the outside. Back in the ring, Thorpe hits another kick/German Suplex combo. He adds a Brainbuster before climbing on Dijak's back with a Sleeper Hold. Dijak falls backward to break out of it. He mounts Thorpe's back before reigning down some shots. Dijak lock in a choke before hitting his spinning big boot.

Dijak sends Thorpe out of the ring and into the ringpost.

Thorpe hits a kick and a German Suplex early on. He locks in a rear naked choke before transitioning into an armbar. Dijak stans up and stomps on Thorpe's head to break the submission.

Thorpe hits some kicks and a side suplex. Dijak goes for a chokeslam but Thorpe counters into an armbar again. Dijak breaks it with a slam.

Eddy Thorpe has warpaint on for the NXT Underground match.

Backstage, Dragon Lee, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro accept Gulak's challenge. Elektra Lopez comes over to greet her former stablemates.

They all exchange pleasantries until Lopez introduces Lola Vice. She smiles but seems like she could care less. Looks like they'll be heading for a breakup soon as Vice feels like she's the star of the group.

Gacy hits a back bodydrop and a suicide dive to the outside. He adds a Uranage and a pin but Mark and Wolfie jump up on the apron to distract Gacy, but it doesn't work.

Tank and Hank come out to chase off the other two. In the ring, Gacy absorbs a headbutt before eluding a clothesline. He hits his handspring Lariat for the win.

Result - Joe Gacy defeats Joe Coffey by pin.

Gacy is tossed from the ring in front of the announce table. He says, "I'm Joe Gacy," as Wolfgang and Mark Coffey try not to interfere.

They should. It would be the most interesting they've ever been. Coffey hits a suicide dive on the outside. Back in the ring, he hits a reverse splash for two.

Too bad the moment is of a main-roster star.

Ilja Dragunov arrives in the arena adorning a neck brace. He declined to comment until he talks to Trick Williams. Ridge Holland wishes Ilja well on Twitter and he will be interviewed next week.

Talkin bout friends... forever, but separate ways for Henley, Jensen, and Briggs.

Femi and Osborne square off by the Breakout Tournament contract. Up next is Joe Coffey in action against Joe Gacy. There can be only one JOE!!!!!!

Femi tosses Heights across the ring. He hits running uppercut in the corner for a near fall. Heights fights back with a Death Valley Driver toss and a delayed German Suplex.

He adds a belly-to-belly toss, but Femi leaves the ring. Heights tries to turn Femi around but Femi blasts him with a Lariat. Femi then tosses Heights in the air, causing him to land face first on the mat.

He hits a pop-up powerbomb for the win.

Result - Oba Femi defeats Tavion Heights by pin.

Vic says that "when the bracket was announced, we thought that this would be the finals (Oba vs. Tavion)."

Heights hits a few throws early on. Femi fights back and lands some ground and pound. Femi hits a Uranage backbreaker for a near fall.

Sarah Schreiber hosts a sit-down with both Blair Davenport and Lyra Valkyria before next week.

Blair says Lyra has always tried to avoid her, including injuring her knee. They argue a bit but need some work on promos.

Arianna Grace talks to Ava about last week's "attack" by Roxanne Perez. She calls it a "tragedy" and that she doesn't have the right to "assault" her.

Grace thinks that Perez should go through anger management training, but Ava reveals that Perez suggested a match with Grace next week at New Year's Evil.

Backstage, Drew Gulak and the No Quarter Catch Crew challenge Dragon Lee, Wilde and Del Toro to a six-man tag for next week. We then pivot to Brooks Jensen and Fallon Henley consoling Josh Briggs after his loss.

Jensen says things could have been different had they been out there, but he can see it in Briggs' eyes that he wants to be a singles competitor.

Jensen also encourages Henley to go after Stratton and accept her challenge for next week. They all put their fists in before going their separate ways.

After a quick cut backstage to Corbin as he says "interesting" after Breakker's win.

Bron hits Frazer with a gutbuster for a two count. He continues to toss Frazer across the ring with ease. The smaller Frazer hits a Suicide Dive on Bron before sending Breakker into the steel steps.

Frazer jumps off the top but is caught by Breakker who slams him immediately for a near fall. Breakker lines Frazer up for a Spear but Frazer lands a Superkick.

He goes for the Phoenix Splash but Bron moves and hits a Spear for the win.

Result - Bron Breakker defeats Nathan Frazer by pin.

Frazer finally gets a move in with a kick to Breakker after going off the ropes close to six times.

Baron Corbin is randomly seen watching backstage for less than a second. Breakker tosses King into the turnbuckle before sending him into the opposite corner.

Bron mocks Frazer by doing pushups like Uncle Poppa Pump.

Bron mocks Frazer for being smaller. Vic says that Frazer needs to stop opening his mouth. Nathan tries to use his speed to confuse Baby Steiner, but he gets caught with a shoulder block for his efforts.

"Match of the Year" was won by Ilja Dragunov for beating Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Title at No Mercy.

Kelly Kincaid gets an "update" about Ilja Dragunov. He's not here but is on his way to say if he can make the match at New Year's Evil next week.

Up next is Nathan Frazer taking on Bron Breakker.

"Moment of the Year" is The Undertaker arriving in NXT after Carmelo Hayes vs. Bron Breakker.

After the match, Bearhill gets in the ring. He rakes King's back twice before King runs off.

King plants Osborne on the top buckle but Osborne knocks him to the mat after Trey Bearhill stands up and slaps his metal chair, distracting King. Osborne hits a Shooting Star Press for the upset win.

Result - Riley Osborne defeats Lexis King by pin.

Osborne hits a kick and a standing Tornillo Splash for a two count. King mouths off to Osborne but Osborne slaps his chest.

King fights back with a backbreaker and a backstabber for two.

As Osborne works on King's arm, Trey Bearhill comes out in the entrance area and sits down. King takes notice. Osborne goes up for a springboard move but King stops it with a kick.

He locks in a single-leg Boston Crab. Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne are, as expected, cheering in the Chase U fan section.

Cora Jade wasn't done with Karmen and her sword even after beating the newer star.

Up next is Lexis King taking on Riley Osborne in the semis of the Men's Breakout Tournament. Get ready for hyper Thea Hail cheering somewhere.

Cora kicks Karmen in the head a few times and lines her up for a DDT, but Gigi Dolin makes the save. Jade escapes before anything happens.

Petrovic hits a series of kicks, including a jumping roundhouse for a near fall. Jade drags her head-first into the ropes before hitting a DDT for the quick win.

Result - Cora Jade defeats Karmen Petrovic by pin.

Jade shoves Petrovic twice before Karmen returns fire with a kick. Cora hits a jumping knee and an elbow to Petrovic's back for a nearfall.

Briggs lost the match the second he declined to have Brooks Jensen and/or Fallon Henley ringside against Meta-Four.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom are chatting backstage and are happy for Ilja for winning 'Male Superstar of the Year' award. Frazer says he's glad Bron Breakker didn't win because he's always mad.

Breakker walks in after overhearing Frazer's words. He says Frazer's speed won't matter against him. Frazer tells Axiom that he could have warned him that Bron was there, and Axiom says "I was winking."

Dar stomps Briggs twice but Briggs decks Dar. As he stands up, Lash Legend bashes Briggs with the metal bucket.

Jakara Jackson gets on the apron and tosses the bucket to Dar, but Briggs intercepts it. He bashes Dar with it but gets caught and disqualified.

Result - Noam Dar defeats Josh Briggs by disqualification.

Briggs struggles to make it to his feet and back into the ring for Round 4. Dar takes advantage and hits two kicks and an elbow off the top for a one-count. Dar hits another kick off the ropes for a near fall. Briggs hits a chokeslam for two.

He misses a big boot in the ropes. Dar goes to the top and lands a stomp off the top on Briggs' ankle. He adds a Superman Punch before locking in an ankle lock. Briggs bludgeons Dar to break the submission hold.

The men battle on the ring apron with Dar landing a DDT on the apron as the round runs out. Dar hits a kick off the barricade for nothing. Briggs up 1-0 after three rounds.

Round 3 starts during the commercials. Good planning. Meta-Four gets in Briggs' face on the outside.
