Lyra and Roxy go face to face as the show goes off the air.

FULL RESULTS FOR WWE NXT FOR JANUARY 16, 2024.

Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes defeat Edris Enofe and Malik Blade by pin.

Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley defeat Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez by pin.

Ridge Holland defeats Joe Coffey by pin.

The LWO (Joaquin Wilde/Cruz Del Toro) defeat Chase University (Riley Osborne and Duke Hudson) by pin.

Dijak defeats Trey Bearhill by pin.

Roxanne Perez wins a #1 Contenders Battle Royal.

James hits a spinebuster on Henley, but Roxy and Kelani break up the pin. Kelani goes for the Playmaker, but James counters and hits the 401k. Perez tries to hit Pop Rox on James, but they end up on the top. James goes for a superplex, but Perez slides down.

Roxy hits a top-rope Hurricanrana, but Jordan tries to steal the pin. Perez superkicks Henley out of the ring. Jordan goes for a split-leg moonsault for the win, but Izzi Dame pulls James out of the ring. That leaves Roxanne Perez and Kelani Jordan. Perez hits Pop Rox on Jordan for the win.

Result - Roxanne Perez wins the 20-woman Battle Royal and the #1 contender spot.

Roxy hits a Suicide Dive on Fallon on one side as Kelani Jordan hits a moonsault on Izzi Dame and Kiana James. Roxy and Kelani trade pin attempts. Roxy hits a pancake-type move on Jordan, but Fallon Henley breaks up the pin.

She lands offense on both Perez and Jordan, including a Blockbuster. Kiana James breaks up the pin. She sends Henley into the corner before hitting shoulder blocks on Perez and Jordan.

Roxanne Perez and Fallon Henley team up to eliminate Izzi Dame. Lash then tries to send them both over the top. She decks Henley down and tries to do the same to Roxy.

Roxy holds on as Wren Sinclair sends Legend out of the ring. James sends Sinclair off the top buckle to leave Kiana James, Roxanne Perez, Kelani Jordan, and Fallon Henley as the final four women.

Thea Hail runs, hitting a Tornado DDT on Lash Legend and a spinning neckbreaker on Lash Legend. She hits Kiana James with a T-Bone Suplex before going for a Senton off the ropes.

Izzi Dame catches her and tosses her out. Fallon Henley then immediately picks James up and tries to eliminate her. Dame saves James again. Dame and Legend, then duke it out.

Lash Legend eliminates Tatum Paxley after Paxley tries to pull her out of the ring with head scissors. Arianna Grace tries to eliminate stars individually but to no avail. She sees Karmen Petrovic knocked out on the mat, so she picks her up and sends her over the top rope. She celebrates like she won. Thea Hail then tosses Grace over the top in revenge for Karmen's elimination.

Gigi tries to eliminate Blair, but Davenport saves herself in the ropes. Dolin tries to rush Blair, but Blair pulls her over the top. Thea Hail then battles with Blair on the ring apron. Karmen Petrovic kicks her in the face to eliminate Blair.

Blair runs back and pulls Karmen out of the ring under the bottom rope. She hits her with a knee before putting her back in the ring.

During the break, Jordan had a Kofi Kingston moment to rejoin the match. Fallon Henley eliminated Stevie Turner during the break. Elektra Lopez saves Lola Vice from elimination, but Lola then tosses Lopez over the top.

Vice mocks Lopez, but Tatum Paxley tosses her over the top. Lopez and Vice then fight to the back.

Gigi Dolin eliminates Jakara Jackson right off the bat. Lash Legend eliminates Adrianna Rizzo, while Izzi Dame does the same to Jaida Parker. Kelani Jordan jumps off the top but is caught by Dame and Legend.

They toss her over the top, but she saves herself from elimination. She gets pushed off the apron and into the arms of Jaida Parker, who hasn't left the ring area.

Cora Jade won't be in the battle royal because she suffered a torn ACL in a live event match on Friday. Wren Sinclair, who beat her, will take her spot. Thea Hail and Blair Davenport get entrances.

Trick and Melo discuss the potential mix-up with the Dusty Cup Finals and Trick's meeting with Ilja at Vengeance Day. He'll wrestle two times that night. Melo says, 'We need to focus on the LWO first' and then, after that, work on what's next.

The No Quarter Catch Crew has a training montage since they have been on a losing streak. They also mention that they've worked a 'catch' clause into all of their matches, meaning any of the four stars could participate in any match.

The commentary team you never knew you wanted...

Backstage, we see Josh Briggs watching footage from his last match. JBL approaches him. Briggs asks him for advice, but JBL says he needs to find out who he is.

JBL says he wants Briggs to show NXT who he is. Nice endorsement there from a Hall of Famer.

After the bell rings, Gacy rushes Dijak, and the two fight to the back. As Bearhill waits in the ring, Lexis King blindsides him and hits his swinging DDT/neckbreaker on Bearhill before telling him to stay out of his business.

Bearhill tries to rake his back again, but Dijak counters by hitting a pendulum kick for the win.

Result - Dijak defeats Trey Bearhill by pin.

Bearhill suplexes Dijak into the corner to even things up. Dijak sends Bearhill over the top before slamming his head into the ring apron. He tosses him into the ringside barricade before berating the entire announce team. Joe Gacy headbutts Dijak while the ref isn't looking. Bearhill emerges to land several strikes and a back rake. He hits a running crossbody for two.

Dijak glares at Joe Gacy at commentary. Bearhill gets a back-body drop and a running shoulder block in off the bat. He climbs up with Dijak stuck in the corner, but Dijak drops him.

He hits a kick for a two-count. Dijak then tosses Bearhill across the ring for a near fall.

Backstage, we see Mr. Stone asking Von Wagner what his New Year's Resolution would be. Noam Dar and Oro Mensah then argue about the Heritage Cup.

Von Wagner then plays dumb about how many times he needs to beat Dar in a Heritage Cup match.

After the match, Andre Chase says that Jacy is their only hope (with her idea). We then go backstage to see Adrianna Rizzo, nervous for the battle royale since it's her first match. They hype her up by mentioning her history of knocking people down when they disrespected her.

Joe Gacy is then shown sitting between Booker T and Vic Joseph at the commentary desk. They are confused.

Duke goes for another powerbomb, but Del Toro breaks out of it again. Del Toro makes a blind tag to Wilde as Duke hits a Blackhole Slam on Del Toro. He hits a splash off the top before hitting a Suicide Tornado DDT on Duke on the outside. Wilde hits a moonsault while Del Toro hits a flipping 450 Splash for the win.

Result - The LWO (Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde) defeat Chase University (Riley Osborne and Duke Hudson) by pin.

Osborne takes out both Wilde and Del Toro with a Corkscrew Senton off the buckle. He makes the tag to Duke and cleans house with a big boot and some Dusty strikes. He goes for a powerbomb on Del Toro but blocks it and hits a Poisonrana. Duke hits a Uranage on Del Toro for a near fall.

The LWO uses tandem office off the bat to control the match's early goings. Osborne makes the tag to Duke, completely changing the dynamic of the match.

He hits Joaquin Wilde with a sidewalk slam. Wilde tags Del Toro in, but Duke clotheslines them at the same time. Duke then sends both over the ropes. He tags Osborne in and hits a Fosbury Flop over the rope as the show heads to commercial.

As Chase U comes out for their match, Riley does a flip that shocks Andre and Duke a bit. He's more than happy, but Duke and Andre are a little uninvolved.

As the LWO enters, Zelina Vega joins them for the match.

Kelani Jordan and Brinley Reece have a pleasant exchange where Reece comes off as another Thea Hail (a lot of energy).

Kelly K then interviews Baron Corbin, who told Bron that the interview was at 9:30. Bron comes in late, and both say they were the leader last week. Bron coins the team name 'Wolf Dogs' to which Corbin questions how long it took to come up with that name. They have a comedic exchange. Corbin says he vetoes 'Wolf Dogs.' Bron tells Kelly what she thinks of both of them, and she says 'honestly, you're both a**holes."

Corbin tells Bron to come up with another name, and he says 'Wild Boars' as Corbin walks off.

We also go backstage with NXT Anonymous to see Jacy Jayne and the Chase U ladies basking in what they did to help the school. I'm guessing maybe a calendar??

Jacy also thanks Karmen Petrovic, who came in to help out. After everyone leaves, Jacy singles out Jazmin and says they should get some drinks.

After the match, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang attack Holland. Joe joins in after looking to see if anyone will come out to help Ridge.

Mark and Wolfie hold Holland up for Joe to hit his spinning Lariat. Along with the "Ridge hurts people" line, Joe shakes his eyes like he got hurt.

Ridge Holland does battle with Joe Coffey. The two trade blows early on until Ridge tosses Coffey a few times. Wolfgang gets on the apron to interfere, but Holland decks him.

Coffey hits an elbow off the middle buckle for two. Holland drops Coffey with a big Lariat before hitting a Snowplow for the quick win.

Result - Ridge Holland defeats Joe Coffey by pin.

In the women's locker room, all of the competitors in the battle royal get ready for the main event. Arianna Grace takes center stage to deliver a speech about how she'll be the one winning tonight.

One by one, the locker room empties out until she is left talking to no one.

Lyra and Paxley work as a team throughout the match. Vice goes for a spinning heel kick but Paxley pushes Lyra out of the way to absorb the kick. Lyra sends Vice out of the ring as Paxley falls on Lopez to get the pinfall win despite being knocked out.

Result - Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley defeat Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez by pin.

Lyra Valkyria has a doppelganger as Tatum Paxley has dressed as her. Paxley hits a blind tag and does Lyra's signature dropkick through the ropes. Vice briefly comes in to mock Lyra. She lands a few kicks, but Paxley hits a rotating slam before tagging the Champ.

Before the next match, Trick and Melo bask in their win. Ilja Dragunov shows up to say he is sorry he couldn't face Trick but that he's now medically cleared.

He will give Trick his shot at Vengeance Day, but it may cause a problem since they could also be in the finals of the Dusty Cup.

Lyra Valkyria comes out for her tag team match. She does her pose in the ring but doesn't notice Tatum Paxley by her feet as she poses.

Backstage, Eddy Thorpe gets praise from Hank, Tank, and an unnamed guy. They all say he represented himself well and kicked butt. Trey Bearhill comes in and also praises Thorpe for representing their culture.

They both mention how they've had trouble with Lexis King and Dijak. Dijak hears his name and appears to run down Bearhill and Thorpe again. They're walking a fine line here...

Lee says he wants a rematch at Vengeance Day instead, but Femi says he doesn't make the decisions anymore but will consider it.

Femi says, "I will crush to dust any man who stands in my way." Dragon Lee comes out after that statement. He says he can't be mad at what happened because Femi took his moment and that no one has made such an impact so quickly as Femi.

Lee also hopes that Femi continues the opportunities he and Wes Lee gave to other stars. He also mentions that he wants to be the first opponent - tonight. Femi says no and that the open challenges are now closed.

Femi says he was born to be a warrior and that he has been tested throughout his life. Vic also mentioned that he is the first NIL star to win a title in NXT.

Next, we get a quick backstage segment of Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez walking together and claiming that they'll win their tag team match and then bring the NXT Women's Championship home to 'us,' which Vice likes.

Tatum Paxley then shows up behind a closed door to say the opposite and that she'll win the battle royal so 'her Champion' won't have to defend her title.

We get a recap of last week's North American Championship situation as Dragon Lee beat Lexis King but was cashed in on by Oba Femi moments later.

Kelly Kincaid interviews Fallon Henley ahead of the 20-woman battle royal. She says she had fun last week with her ranch hand. She's also ready to get to business because she's never had a title match.

Blade and Enofe go for a finishing move, but Trick slams them into each other. Hayes tags in, but Blade hits a Frog Splash after Enofe drops him. Enofe sends Trick outside but gets decked as he goes over the rope. Hayes hits a superkick before tagging Trick back into the match. Trick hits a running knee for the win.

Result - Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes defeat Edris Enofe and Malik Blade by pin.

Blade and Edris work on Melo in their corner until he makes the tag to Trick. Trick drops both opponents before hitting his stepover Flatliner for a two-count.

Blade breaks up the pin. He and Melo with Blade hitting a jumping DDT. Enofe hits a belly-to-back suplex on Trick. He goes to the top and hits a huge elbow drop off the top.

Trick and Melo neutralize Enofe in their corner. Blade and Enofe turn the tables on Trick, but he counters a toss into an armbar. Enofe hits a Tope Con Giro on Melo on one side of the ring, while Blade does the same on Trick on the other side.

Blade hits a blind tag, eating a jumping clothesline to save his partner. Hayes tags in and misses a move off the top, allowing Malik to land some offense. He sends Trick off the apron with a dropkick.
