Shinsuke Nakamura def. TJ Perkins
What a great match to end this episode of NXT. Both men impressed, especially TJ Perkins. This match just showed what the WWE Cruiserweight Division could have been if booked correctly.
We come back from commercial to see Nakamurain control as TJP avoids an attempted Kinshasa before hitting Nakamura with an elbow drop on the knee. Nakamura isn't happy and he hits back with an enzeguiri before hitting TJP with the "Good Vibrations" in the corner.
Nakamura kip ups out of a lock before mocking TJP's dab. TJP follows it up with a hurracanrana that sends TJP crashing out of the ring. Perkins then goes for the springboard dropkick to the outside by he crashes on the apron as Nakamura dodges and knocks him down before hitting his trademark running knee on the apron.
Kassius Ohno is in an interview with Tom Phillips. Ohno reminisces of how he was there when they were setting up the performance center. Ohno then adds that wrestling was the first thing he was ever good at and he's wrestled all over the world but WWE was the first time he ever doubted himself.
He then added that until he wins the NXT Championship, his doubts will not be answered.
