FULL RESULTS FOR WWE NXT (OCTOBER 8, 2024).
JADE CARGILL, KELANI JORDAN, AND BIANCA BELAIR defeat Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Jazmyn Nyx) by pin.
TONY D'ANGELO defeats Oba Femi by pin.
NATHAN FRAZER and AXIOM defeat Austin Theory and Grayson Waller by pin.
RANDY ORTON defeats Je'Von Evans by pin.

Orton helps Evans to his feet. He raises his hand and the camera then cuts to Ava backstage getting mad at Page for asking for a rematch. Wes Lee says the same thing. She announces that Lee and Page will face each other next week for the right to challenge Trick Williams at Halloween Havoc. She also adds Evans to the match "after his performance this week" despite losing.

Evans lands a Superkick before Orton can hit an RKO. He hits his jumping cutter off the top for a two-count. Je'Von goes for it again but Orton tries to hit the RKO. He's out of place, so he picks Evans back up to land the move for the win.
Result - Randy Orton defeats Je'Von Evans by pin.

Orton tries to send Evans out of the ring but he recovers to hit a high-flying move off the ropes on Orton. He adds a flipping kick for a near fall. He goes for another springboard move but Orton stops him and hits his power slam for two. The Viper adds his hanging DDT before setting up for an RKO.

Orton has Evans grounded in front of the announce table. Here comes his usual side suplex dump on the announce table. Evans lands on his feet instead and jumps to the ring apron. He gets in the rings for a Suicide Dive but Orton catches him to put him through the table. The crowd chants "One more time" and Orton obliges a few more times.

I still wince whenever Randy winds up a move with his arm. He looks like he might explode. Orton moves out of the way again as Evans goes for a high-risk move. Orton catches a kick attempt from Evans but Evans blasts him with a boot anyway. He then sends the Viper from the ring with another big kick.

It's main-event time as Randy Orton slithers his way to NXT for a match with Bouncy Je'Von Evans. Evans goes for a kick off the bat but Orton does his best Samoa Joe impression by walking out of the path of danger.

Wren Sinclair taking on Stephanie Vaquer is also made official.

We get another vignette of the woman dressed in red, only this time, she's running through five women standing in her way. She chokeslams on the concrete before looking at a building with NXT at the top. Vic Joseph announces the return of the Halloween Havoc Wheel for next week as well as Tony D'Angelo's Championship celebration. Nikkita Lyons vs. Lola Vice is booked. Can the ring contain the shakes???

Page says NXT fell apart a week after he lost the title, so he interrupted the "performance." He says he's not leaving the ring until he gets his rematch. Red says he said "a bunch of nothing" but one could argue her song did the same. Je'Von Evans then comes out to make Page look like a Doofus so Red can shake her rump.

Ethan Page thankfully interrupts Sexyy Red's performance. He'll probably get attacked from someone. She says he has an attitude problem despite insulting him on RAW last night.

Sarah interviews Ridge Holland after his destruction of Chase University. He says it was the price they paid for them ruining his dreams. Riley Osborne blindsided him before he can finish his words. Up next is a performance from Sexxy Red.

Frazer goes for a splash over the top but Theory blasts him with a forearm. Axiom captures Waller in a Rear Naked Choke. Frazer traps Theory with a Guillotine Choke. Theory breaks both holds by dropping Frazer on top of Axiom and Waller. Theory accidentally hits Waller with Frazer's legs. They almost hit each other but Waller ends up moving out of the way, allowing Axiom to blast Theory with a kick. Axiom hits an impressive Canadian Destroyer on Waller. Axiom hits a Spanish Fly and Frazer adds the 450 Splash as the Champs retain.
Result - Nathan Frazer and Axiom defeat Austin Theory and Grayson Waller by pin.

Frazer drops Waller on the outside with a springboard crossbody. He goes for a standing Shooting Star Press but Theory gets the knees up. He goes to tag Axiom but Waller pulls him off the apron. Theory hits a spinning Flatliner for a close call. Axiom tags in. The Champs hit a High/Low on Waller for a near fall.

The former WWE Tag Champs control Axiom off the commercial break. Frazer punches Waller on the outside. Theory puts Axiom on the top buckle again. He punches Theory off the buckle, hitting a Frog Splash. Frazer tags in and hits a springboard dropkick. He hits a flip off the middle rope and a tandem DDT/facebuster for a near fall.

The Champs use quick offense to ground Theory. Waller rushes in but is hit with a tilt-a-whirl DDT. Theory climbs to the top but is blasted with an Enzuguiri. Axiom goes to the top for a Spanish Fly, but Waller holds Theory's leg to prevent the move. Axiom falls on the top rope and Theory blasts him with a Lariat.

Theory tries to overpower Axiom early on but he gets the upper hand with a dropkick. Frazer tags in and hits a kick after hitting the ropes three times. A split-screen shows Randy Orton taping up his hands. Wasn't he doing that like an hour ago?

Nathan Frazer and Axiom defend the NXT Tag Team Titles against Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.

Backstage, Jordan, Belair, and Cargill are basking in their win. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson want ANOTHER tag title shot as if they've built up enough wins to deserve one. Belair and Cargill say they can come to SmackDown if they want one.

That was one of NXT's better matches as of late. Good conclusion for Tony D'Angelo's arc.

After the big win, we see footage from last week showing Lola Vice confronting Jaida Parker after Parker walked out of their tag team match last week. Both are jonesing for a match. Nikkita Lyons comes in for a meeting since she's finally cleared for action. Ava says they would talk about her first match back, but after she and Vice had spoken, the match made itself.

D'Angelo slams Femi for a very close two-count. He looks at the Family, but Femi quickly pops up. He grabs him by the throat, but D'Angelo reverses it with a Sunset Flip pin to become the new North American Champion!!
Result - Tony D'Angelo defeats Oba Femi by pin.

Femi puts The Don on the top buckle. The Don jumps off but is blasted with an uppercut. Both men roll out of the ring in front of the announce table. Femi cleans it off so he can powerbomb D'Angelo on it. D'Angelo counters into a Uranage of his own through the table. He sends Femi through the table.

Oba lands two uppercuts. D'Angelo hits one of his own but gets blasted with a big kick. Femi chokeslams Tony D but The Don kicks out at two. The Champ ragdolls The Don until he catches Femi with a series of German Suplexes. Femi battles out by tossing D'Angelo across the ring. He strangely falls over, giving both men time to recover and make it back to their feet.

It only serves to enrage D'Angelo. He spears Femi on the mat before sending him into the steel steps. He then hits a belly-to-belly throw onto the steel steps. Back in the ring, The Don hits Femi with a spear for a two-count.

The Champ goes for a powerbomb but D'Angelo counters it into a back body drop. A crowbar finds its way into the ring and D'Angelo picks it up. He tosses it back to Stacks after shaking his head. Femi and D'Angelo go over the top rope in front of the Family. Femi blasts Tony D's chest with a loud strike. He then glares at each member of the group before shoving Stacks and Luca down. Rizzo gets caught in the crossfire too.

Femi controls Tony D with a headlock. Tony D hits a clothesline that sends Femi from the ring. He chases the Champ with an axehandle off the apron but Femi catches him and drops The Don back-first on the ring apron.

Femi laughs when D'Angelo shrugs at a strike attempt. D'Angelo lands some strikes but Femi blasts him with a brutal Lariat.

Femi is the longest-reigning NXT North American Champion with 10 title defenses.

Up next, Tony D'Angelo tries to see if finding his smile is enough to overcome Oba Femi.

The No Quarter Catch Crew is watching backstage and Wren Sinclair says she'll show Stephanie Vaquer what NXT is all about next week. Charlie Dempsey then walks by Lexis King, who is still mad about losing to Oro Mensah after he cheated. Dempsey tells him about some gentlemanly type match from England that requires honor.

Cora holds the ropes open for Giulia but she waits. Stephanie Vaquer backs her up and the new duo rushes the ring. The international stars send Jade and Perez packing - but the NXT Women's title in the middle of the ring. They both pick up the belt.

Perez apologizes by saying she should have listened to Jade years ago. Cue Giulia!

Jade claims she had to sit at home and hear about how this NXT division was the deepest in recent memory. Her name was left off the list - because she was injured. She wanted everyone to pay for forgetting about Cora Jade. The woman we used to know was "a young girl trying to make it in NXT." The new woman is the woman who will MAKE NXT. She adds that this is the person she knew Roxanne could always be.

Roxy mocks how everyone thought that last week was going to be the week when "the international star" dethroned her. She calls the fans "predictable" and that "she'll drink all the tears of your new face of the month."

Out next is NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez. She's supposed to be joined by Cora Jade so this should be interesting.

Backstage, FrAxiom game plans before their title match with A Town Down Under. Randy Orton is getting ready in the same room and asks them if Je'Von Evans is as fast as he seems. Frazer takes exception to Axiom, who says he is the fastest guy he's seen. We then pivot to Sarah Schreiber interviewing Giulia. She asks the Beautiful Madness about Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade from last week. She's about to answer, but a knock interrupts her response. Giulia smiles and says, "Hello, my old friend," making it seem like she has backup.

Belair catches a kick attempt from Nyx. She tosses her across the ring. The tag Champs hit a tandem facebuster/flapjack combo before Jordan hits a split-legged moonsault to pick up the win.
Result - Kelani Jordan, Jade Cargill, and Bianca Belair defeat Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx, and Fallon Henley) by pin.

Cargill slams each heel. She hits Nyx with a Fallaway Slam before hitting splashes on Nyx and Jayne in opposite corners. Jade hits Nyx with a Uranage. She tags Bianca in and they hit a tandem slam move. Henley breaks up the pin. Jayne hits Cargill with a kick. Jordan hits Jayne with a front facebuster. Jordan then takes Heney and Jayne out with a moonsault. Nyx is left with Belair. She hits a Pele Kick but Belair kicks out.
