Johnny Gargano is on his way out and is on the ramp acknowledging the fans when Tomasso Ciampa attacks him from behind with a cructh. Ciampa is back.

Almas spikes Gargano with a Hammerlock DDT with Gargano's feet draped on the top rope. This time Gargano can't kick out.

Andrade 'Cien' Almas def. Johnny Gargano

This one is an early contender for match of the year. So close, yet so far for Johnny Gargano.

Gargano joins Almas on the apron but Almas pushes him onto the barrier and hits the running knee right there. Gargano looks like his lights just got knocked out.

Gargano hits the DDT from the apron but Almas kicks out. Gargano has the Garga-No-Escape locked in but Almas reaches the ropes.

Vega looks to attack Gargano again but Candice LeRae comes in from the crowd and attacks her. Candice chases Vega out of the ring.

Almas rolls him in and hits the Hammerlock DDT but Gargano kicks out!!!!

Gargano goes all out and hits a reverse Franksensteinder before locking in the Garga-No-Escape. Vega looks to pull Almas to the rope but the referee spots it. Almas rakes Gargano's eyes but Gagrano dumps Almas out of the ring and hits a suicide dive, He rolls Almas in but Vega hits him with a hurracanrana.

Almas looks frustrated now as he disrespectfully slaps Gargano across the face.

Almas rolls Gargano in and hits the running knee and covers Gargano but somehow he kicks out.

Gargano gets caught up in the turnbuckle on the outside and Almas folloed it up with a double stomp onto the apron. Gargano looks dazed.

Vega distracts Gargano giving Almas the chance to hit a dropkick. Almas looks to follow it up with a DDT but Gargano rolls him up for a nearfall. Gargano then hits a superkick but can only pick up another nearfall.

Gargano looks for the Garga-No-Escape but Almas hits a jawbreaker. He follows it up with a back elbow. Almas looks for a running knee but Gargano cleans him out with a clothesline. Gargano sends Almas face-first into the turnbuckle.

Gargano rolls Almas back in and cover him for a nearfall.

The fans are on their feet for a standing ovation but the battle comtinues. Almas slaps Gargano across the face and Gargano replies with an enzeguiri. Gargano follows it up with a jumping DDT onto the apron.

Gargano goes for his patented DDT from the top rope but Gargnao slips out and hits him with a superkick. Gargano goes for a sunset flip powerbomb but Almas lands on his feet and hits running knees. Almas looks to follow it up with another one but crashes into the turnbuckles. Gargano goes for the slingshot DDT but Almas catches him and plants him.

The two men trade forearms and Gargano looks to have won the exchange but Almas hits a nasty back elbow. That looks like a knockout shot but Gargano kicks out at 2. Almas bounces off the ropes to follow it up and Gargano catches him with a superkick for a 2-count. Both men then take each other out with a lariat.

Almas looks to hit a moonsault from the top rope but Gargano rolls away. Almas spots it and lands on his feet and continues it into a standing moonsault,

Gargano hits a slingshot spear as Almas charged at him. Almas replies with a head scissors for a 2-count.

Gargano hits and enzeguiri and follows it up with a running forearm into the corner.

Gargano hits his signature seated roundhouse kick but Almas ties him up in the tree of woe. Almas goes for a double stomp but misses. Gargano follows it up with an overhead suplex into the turnbuckle.

Almas locks in a headlock on Gargano. Johnny Gargano is grounded but soon gets back to his feet.

Almas rolls Gargano into the ring and covers him for a 2-count.

Gargano nails a hurracanrana sending Almas rolling out to ringside. Gargano goes for a dive but Almas dodges it. Almas then attempts a moonsault from the apron but Gargano dodges it and heads to the apron and kicks Almas in the face. He then goes for a running canonball and Almas sidesteps him, sending Gargano back first into the floor.

Gargano goes for a leapfrog but Almas spots it. Gargano goes for the Garga-No-Escape but the two men separate.

A slow-ish start leads to a series of quick takedowns and reversals.

Gargano's family is here to support him on his big night but we all know that means that Gargano probably won't win. A Ciamp comeback, maybe?

Incredible entrance for Almas and a big pop for Gargano as he came out. We're huge fans of Gargano here at the Sportskeeda office.

EC3 is at ringside!!!!

Black rolls Cole back in the ring but Cole catches him with a kendo stick strike. Cole then picks up a chair and lunges at Black who hits a Black Mass. Cole it out and Black covers him for a 3-count.

Cole looks horrified as he goes to send Black through the table. Black blocks the suplex and double stomps Cole through the table.

Young and Wolfe hold Fish and O'Reilly in place at ringside as Dain takes them all out with a suicide dive.

Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe come out to even the odds.

Black goes for the cover but Fish and O'Reilly come out and break the count. The hit Black with a double team before setting up the announcer's table.

Black sends Cole spine-first onto two chairs. That was nasty. Black follows it up with a sliding knee into a chair into Cole's face.

Cole finally rolls Black into the ring and covers him but it's just a 2-count.

Cole is unable to lift Black but hits a back elbow instead. Black hits back with a standing double stomp before heading to the top rope. Cole throws the chair at Black and hits him with a superkick. Black crashes into the two tables at ringside.

Both men try to suplex the other onto the ladder but Cole settles for a sidekick before going for the 10-count punches in the corner. Black dumps Cole tailbone-first onto the ladder.

Black takes out a ladder after setting up a second table next to the first one. Cole dropkicks the ladder into Black's face before looking to suplex Black into the ladder which was leaning against the turnbuckle.

Cole takes out a table and sets it up at ringside. He then pulls Black onto the top turnbuckle looking to suplex him onto the table. Black breaks free and sends Cole crashing into the center of the ring. Black follows it up with a nasty running knee for a nearfall.

Cole whacks Black with the kendo stick before hitting Black with a backstabber assisted by the kendo stick.

Both men have a kendo stick as Black throws his one away and invites Cole to hit him. Cole looks like Christmas has come early as he lunges at Black who dodges and hits him with forearms. Black goes for a springboard as Cole hit him with the kendo stick in midair.

Black hits back with forearms but Cole sends him face-first into the barricade. Cole then takes out a kendo stick as Black takes one out too.

Cole finally gets the better of Black at ringside and takes out chairs and a trash can.

Black sends Cole out of the ring and then taunts him with his springboard into the yoga pose. An enraged Adam Cole gets a steel chair and heads into the ring. Black dodges the chairshot and boots Cole out of the ring before sitting on the chair.
