Roode now has Nakamura in a Half Boston Crab. He's crawling towards the ropes. Matt Bloom is also out now as Nakamura kicks Roode in the head and has him in a Triangle Hold. Nakamura's knee gives out as Roode hits another DDT.

Roode pins Nakamura! Roode pins Nakamura! Roode pins Nakamura! We have a new NXT Champion!

Nakamura craws back into the ring and Roode immediately pounces on him and hits him with a beautiful DDT. Nakamura kicks out!!!

Roode is finally up as the medic checks on Nakamura's knee. Are we heading for a screwy finish?

Nakamura hits a knee to the heart from the top rope and onto the apron as he crashes outside. Nakamura is favouring his knee as he rolls Roode back into the ring. Nakamura nails Roode with a Kinshasa but it looks like Nakamura's inured his knee. Roode looks out cold.

Nakamura looks to lock in an armbar but Roode has his fingers locked. Nakamura turns it into a triangle lock instead but Roode lifts him up. Nakamura breaks free and hits a sliding knee for another nearfall. This match is reaching its crescendo.

Nakamura is now literally kicking the hell out of Roode. These are brutal.

Nakamura then attempts a Kinshasa but Roode got his knees up. He then covers Nakamura by leveraging his feet against the ropes but the referee spots it.

Roode hits a beautiful spinebuster. He then takes Nakamura to the top turnbuckle as he looks for a Superplex. Nakamura overpowers Roode and plants him face-first onto the mat. Nakamura then hit a jumping kick to Roode's chest.

Roode was playing possum and he rolls Nakamura up for a 2-count. He then hits the backstabber for a nearfall.

Roode dodges it and looks for a double axehandle. Nakamura dodges the axehandle and hits a knee to the gut. He then places Roode on the turnbuckle again and this time the knee connects. Nakamura then hits the Exploder Suplex and looks to setup the Kinshasa but Roode  won't get up.

Nakamura is on the apron and as Roode looks to pick him up, Nakamura hits an enzeguiri. Nakamura follows it up with the running knee from ringside. He then gets Roode back into the ring and places him in the turnbuckle and goes for the knee.

Roode now looks to stomp a mudhole in the corner. He hits his own version of the 'Good Vibrations' in the corner.

Roode is in complete control now. He has Nakamura in a headlock in the centre on the ring. Nakamura looks to fight back but Rodde grabs his hair and plants him on the mat.

Roode plants Nakamura on the top rope and literally just pushes him off the turnbuckle and onto the floor outside. That looked brutal. Roode then sends Nakamura crashing into the steel steps.

Roode looks to taunt Nakamura again but Nakamura doesn't take kindly to this and takes Roode down with a series of strikes before hitting a jumping knee. Nakamura looks for the Good Vibrations in the corner but Roode caught hit foot and pushed him away and Nakamura hit back with an Enzeguiri.

Roode elbows Nakamura in the Jaw before putting putting him in a low-angled hammerlock. Nakamura gets out of the hold acrobatically and looks to take Roode down but Roode still doesn't let go.

Roode and Nakamura finally go at each other. A slow and tentative start to the match as Roode has Nakamura in a headlock. The two slow down again and taunt each other.

Nakamura and Roode are still feeling each other out in the opening stages as the crowd now chant "This is glorious".

The bell rings and here we go. Nakamura and Roode face off as the crowd start singing Nakamura's theme song.

Duelling chants of "Nakamura" and  "Roode" start as they face off in the ring.

Roode is followed out by the 2-time NXT Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura.

Bobby Roode heads to the ring with 8 women as he gets ready to challenge for the NXT Championship. Glorious entrance.

Asuka looks a little rockes but she kicks Royce in the side of the face before hitting Billie Kay with a spin kick. Royce in on her knees now and Asuka hits her with another kick to the side of the head. This one looks like it's over. Asuka covers Peyton Royce for the three count.

Royce looks for the Facebuster onto Kay's knee but Asuka just kicks Kay in the face. Royce hits Asuka with the Window's Peak but Asuka kicks out.

Kay and Royce double team Asuka as Royce knees her in the face.. Only a nearfall from the double cover.

Kay calls Royce over and they have Cross on top of the commentary table. The hit her with a double vertical suplex onto an adjacent table. They then run towards Asuka to try and double team her.

Kay and Royce overpower Cross and send her crashing into the barricade. They chase Cross out to the entrance area but Cross fights back, sending Royce face first into a barricade. Cross then heads to the top of the commentary table but Billie Kay jumps her from behind.

Asuka then hits Nikki Cross with another German Suplex before chasing Kay and Royce away again. Cross takes advantage  and takes down the champion for the 2-count. Cross then charges at Asuka but Asuka dodges it and she crashes outside the ring.

Asuka follows her out to ringside but Cross hits her with a Fisherman Buster on the floor. She then heads to the top rope and hits Kay and Royce with a crossbody.

Asuka clears the ring of Kay and Royce pretty easily before Cross comes back in.They tear at each other but Kay and Royce come back in. ASuka hits Kay and Royce with a double German Suplex! That was insane!

Kay and Royce roll out to ringside almost as soon as the match starts. Cross and Asuka square off in the middle of the ring as Kay and Royce come back in and blindside them. Them look to double team Asuka but that clearly wasn't a good idea.

Nikki Cross comes out first, and alone. She is followed by the NXT Breakout Superstars of the Year for 2016 - Billie Kay and Peyton Royce. They're follows out by the undefeated 'Empress' of NXT.

Rollins clears the ring of security before looking to head to the back to find Triple H only to be overwhelmed by more security guards.

Triple H is calling out security but it's just 3 guys.
