WWE RAW Live Results (December 12, 2022): Former champion FIRED, Alexa Bliss teases heel turn, #1 contender's match

Bobby goes for a second Spear but Rollins reverses it into a Pedigree! He's hit it! The Visionary pins Lashley for the 3-count. He's the new #1 contender. Lashey is livid.

Seth Rollins def. Bobby Lashley

Lashley loses his cool and takes down a referee. Adam Pearce is out to calm the situatin down and Lashley pushes him away! Pearce FIRES Lashley!!!!

Lashley locks in a Hurt Lock but the ref is knocked out of the ring. Lashley hits the spear but the referee lumbers back in the ring and gives Rollins the chance to kick out.

Rollins catches The All Mighty with another superkick. He heads to the top rope and nails a Frog Splash but he kicks out at 2 again. Is there any way Rollins can keep Lashley down? Rollins goes for a Curb Stomp but Lashley just blocks it.

Seth Rollins hits back. He sends Lashley packing out of the ring and follows it up with a series of tope suicidas. Lashley is back in the ring but eats a superkick. Rollins follows it up with a Falcon Arrow but it's only a 2 count.

Bobby Lashley brutalizes Rollins in the corner as we come back from the break. He takes Rollins down with a neckbreaker and follows it up with a stalled vertical suplex. Superhuman strength from Lashley but Rollins kicks out at 2.

Bobby Lashley vs Seth Rollins

Bobby Lashley clashes with Seth Rollins in the main even of WWE RAW to see who will be the next challenger for the US Championship. Lashley launches Rollins out of the ring as the match starts. He follows Rollins out and dumps him into the crowd.

Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley are set to clash next to see who will be the #1 contender for the US Championship.

Dominik is backstage with the Doctor. Judgement Day are with his as the doctor applies eye drops.

Just when Asuka was getting back in it, Dominik distracts Asuka at ringside giving Rhea the opening she needed. Back in the ring, Asuka locks in the Asuka lock and Dominik gets on the apron to make the distraction again. Asuka blinds him with the mist but he's done his job. Rhea hits the Riptide and pins Asuka for the win.

Asuka rocks Rhea Ripley with a boot to the head but Rhea gives back as good as she got. A flurry of strikes from Asuka floors Rhea but the cover only gets a 2-count.

Asuka tries to fight back as we come back from the break but Rhea kicks her in the back of the head to stop her in her tracks. Rhea continues to boot Asuka in the back of the head. She then has a bodylock locked in, trying to get the air out of Asuka.

Asuka goes for an armbar early but Rhea swats her away and repeatedly kicks her as she;s down. Rhea now slaps Asuka across the back of the head and follows it with knees across the midsection.

Solo is about to finish Elias off but Kevin Owens runs out and hits him with a Stunner. He then grabs the steel chair and keeps Sami and Solo at bay as Elias slowly makes it back to his feet. KO then takes out Elias with a Stunner. No love lost between them either.

Solo Sikoa pays tribute to the late Umaga and takes out Elias with a Samoan Spike. He then gets a chair from ringside and smashes him with it.

Sami trash-talks Solo from ringside and distracts him. Solo catches Elias with a Superkick and that gives him the opening he needed. Solo hits a Spinning Solo to pick up the win.

We're back from the break and Solo is back to dominating this match. He takes Elias down with a Samoan Drop before heading to the middle rope. Solo goes for a diving headbutt but Elias rolls away. Elias hits back with a Spinebuster and follows it up with a knee strike. Could it be an upset? No, Solo kicks out at 2.

Elias vs Solo Sikoa

Elias makes a surprisingly good start to this match and sends Solo packing out of the ring. The Street Champ isn't keeping his cool her and he grabs a steel chair. Thankfully the Honorary Uce is there to calm him down.

Elias is out next. Matt Riddle isn't here tonight and Elias has a special song dedicated to him. However, Solo Sikoa's music interrupts.

KO is backstage for an interview. He says Solo Sikoa is a very dangerous man. Elias walks up to his old friend and wants Kevin Owens to be in his corner tonight. Owens asks Elias about what happened earlier this year. He points out that was his brother Ezekiel and not him. KO points out that it was Elias who smashed him with a guitar. KO is incredulous and can't believe what Elias is asking of him and he jus walks away.

Iyo SKy takes down Candice LeRae and heads back up to the top rope. Sky then hits the Over The Moonsault for the win.

Io Sky looks to be in a spot of bother. Since coming back from the ad break it's been all LeRae. Sky charges at LeRae who boots her in the face and climbs to the top rope. Io Sky catches LeRae with a kick that knocks her out to ringside. That looked nasty. Sky wants to hit a powerbomb but LeRae counters it into a poisonrana.

We have another big match up from the women's division as Candice faces Io Sky of Damage CTRL. The match starts off back and forth and shortly into it, we cut to an ad break.

The Miz says he'll find a way to get money to put it on the line for the match. Gargano suggests that Miz should help give out presents dressed as Santa's Little Elf.

The Miz doesn't want to give back the money and says he will do anything to keep it. Fans chart "MIke" at him and he isn't happy. Johnny Gargano says the if Miz wants to westle for the money, he will have to put his money on the line for it. Miz says Maryse controls his finances and gives him an allowance.

The Miz interrupts Dexter and Johnny and steals back they money. Adam Pearce stops Miz from escaping and wants him to go back and give Dexter his money back.

Johnny Gargano is out next with Dexter Lumis. He says they want to give back to the WWE Universe by giving away cool stuff. They distribute gifts to fans as they make their way down to the ring.

Things are breaking down. Damian Priest had almost cleared the ring when Tozawa sends him crashing out. Dominik tries to roll Tozawa up but he kicks out. He then wipes out Dominik with a tope suicida. Tozawa is on a roll as he also takes out Balor. Priest then gets on the apron and hits Tozawa with a powerbomb. Dominik manages to make the cover and get the win for his team.

Dawkins hits Finn Balor with a spinning neckbreaker but the count is broken up by Dominik.

Back from the break, we see Priest taking out Montez Ford at ringside. He sends Ford crashing into the announcer's table. Ford manages to beat the 10 count and get back in the ring. Dominik tags in and works over Montez Ford. Judgement Day briefly isolate Ford but he manages to tag in Angelo Dawkins. Dawkins is all over Finn Balor.

Judgement Day vs Street Profits and Akira Tozawa

Damian Priest ad Angelo Dawkins start off, going back and forth. Dawkins hits Priest with a dropkick and he tags in Finn Balor. Tozawa tags in. Balor is all over Tozawa early on. He goes for what looks like a powerbomb but Tozawa sends him crashing out to ringside with a hurricanrana. Priest distracts Tozawa giving Balor the chance to take him out with a clothesline from behind.

Judgement Day will be in action next. They will take on Street Profits and Akira Tozawa.

Johnny Gargano and Dexter Lumis are backstage and are trying to figure out what to do with their money. Candice walks up and encourages them to spend it wisely because it's Christmas, a time for giving.

Gable looked like he had a shot at getting something out of this. Gable goes for a roll up but Styles rolls out of it and hits a Styles Clash for the win.

AJ Styles def. Chad Gable

We're back from the break and Styles has taken back control of the match. He slams Gable and gets a 2-count off it. Gable hits back with a vicious German Suplex. He holds on and goes for a second but AJ counters with a Pele Kick. Gable immediately hits back with another German Suplex.

AJ Styles launches Gable out of the ring early in the match but Otis catches him for a safe landing. Styles then comes out to the apron this turns out to be a mistake. Gable takes Styles down out at ringisde before sending him crashing into the steel steps.

We get a recap of Kurt Angle and Gable Steveson pouring milk all over Alpha Academy last week. We then see Alpha Academy backstage as AJ Styles, Gallows and Mia Yim pass by. Styles says Gallows is in Japan this week but has sent them a video of Alpha Academy getting embarrassed. Gable isn't happy and challenges Styles to a match.

Bianca enters the ring to celebrate with Alexa. For a moment, Alexa turns her around and is about to his the Sister Abigail but seems to come to her senses and she walks away with a worried look on her face.

Bayley looks like she had the match won after hitting a Bayley To Bayley but she just can't put Bliss away. In her frustration, Bayley takes off one of the turnbuckle corners. Bliss then sends her crashing out to ringside where Bianca Belair gets in her face. Back in the ring, Bayley is sent head-first into the exposed turnbuckle and Bliss follows it with the Twisted Bliss for the win.

Alexa Bliss def. Bayley

Alexa Bliss is the new #1 contender for the RAW Women's Championship.

Back from the break, Bayley is still dominating the match. She takes Alexa down with a spinning slam but only gets 2 out of it. Bliss hits back but only gets a 2-count herself.

Alexa takes Bayley down with a crossbody and heads to the top rope. Bayley rolls out but Alexa follows her out to the apron. Bayley then sends Alexa shoulder-first into the ring post.

Alexa Bliss hits a sunset flip early, Bayley hits back with a suplex. Alexa Bliss takes her down with a Lou Thesz Press before hitting her with multiple right hands and a knee drop across the midsection.
