Roman cuts a terrible promo in the ring and he immediately gets booed by the fans. Roman and Goldberg face off as Braun Strowman's music hits. Things just got interesting.

Roman Reigns interrupts the proceedings now and struts his way to the ring as the crowd sits silent, Too much excitement maybe?

Heyman announces that Brock Lesnar wasn't at Raw tonight before saying that he would give the fans a spoiler for the Rumble - Eat, Sleep, Elimination, Repeat.

Goldberg comes down to the ring and tells Jericho that he will FIRST at the Royal Rumble. Owens interrupts and tells him that he's a guest and asks him to have a seat. Goldberg tosses the seat away and takes his coat . Jericho then continues to say that he was about to add Goldberg to the list when Kevin Owens loses his cool. He throws the tables and chairs out of the ring before facing off with Goldberg in the middle of the ring before Paul Heyman interrupts the proceedings.

Owens and Jericho bicker as Goldberg's music hits and he can be seen walking to the ring from the backstage area.

Before they can call Goldberg out, Jericho announced that he had a huge announcement. He then announced himself as the third entrant into the 2017 Royal Rumble.

Jericho tells Tampa Bay that since they chanted 'Goldberg' during the Kevin Ownes Show, they all just made the list.

The Kevin Owens Show with special guest - Goldberg!

Owens welcomes everyone to the first episode of the Kevin Owens Show. Owens rues the fact that he got DQ-ed in his match against Seth Rollins which Roman Reigns defeated Chris Jericho. He follows it up by saying his first guest needed no introduction and defined the Attitude Era - Chris Jericho.

Sasha Banks came out at this point and distracted Nia Jax as had Bayley cornered on the top rope. Bayley uses the distraction to hit a Bayley-to-belly off the top rope as Bayley scores a huge win.

Bayley vs Nia Jax (#1 Contender's Match)

Nia Jax starts off the match in control, as expected, using her size to her advantage. Jax treats Bayley like a ragdoll in the early stages of the match, tossing her around before locking in a sleeper hold. Bayley breaks out and heads to the corner for support. Nia charges at Bayley full throttle. Bayley moves out of the way, sending Nia crashing shoulder first into the turnbuckle.

Big Cass vs Rusev and Jinder Mahal (2-on-1 Handicap Match)

Cass and Jinder Mahal start us off. Clearly Jinder's here to job tonight but the man looks like he's in excellent shape. Rusev gets tagged in but he receives a huge boot to the face as chants of "USA" break out. Jinder goes after Enzo who's in a wheelchair at ringside. A distracted Big Cass gets hit by a vicious kick by Rusev. Rusev covers Cass. 1-2-3.

TJ Perkins vs Brian Kendrick

The match starts off at a fast pace as both men go back and forth. Perkins hits a quick dropkick but Kendrick replies by slamming TJP's arm against the middle rope. He follows it up with a reverse Fisherman Suplex. Kendrick then looked to lock in a chin lock but Kendrick hit back with a kick to the face. Perkins follows it up with a springboard Hurracanrana. Perkins then attempts a corner splash but Kendrick moves away. He then attempts a Sliced Bread #2 but Perkins catches him in midair and hits the Detonation Kick before locking in the kneebar, forcing Kendrick to tap out.

Roman then attempts to hit a corner Spear but Jericho dodges and he crashes into the ring post. Jericho then looks to attempt to remove the turnbuckle but the referee sees him. As the referee looks to put it back on, Jericho gets the US title belt and throws it to Roman and pretends to be hurt. With the title changing hands by DQ in this match, the referee has a big decision to make. Y2J then gets up and hits a Codebreaker only for Roman to kick out at 2.

Roman then dodges a corner splash from Jericho as he hits the Spear, as usual, to pick up the win.

Roman rolls Jericho up to counter the Walls of Jericho but only gets a 2-count. Jericho then goes to the top rope but Reigns meets him with a Superman Punch that almost knocks Jericho's lights out. Roman covers Y2J but he manages to kick out at 2.

Jericho counters a Superman Punch attempt and looks to hit the Lionsault, Roman gets the knees up and attempts a Powerbomb. Jericho counters out of it and locks in the Walls Of Jericho.

We come back from the break to see Jericho back in control. Y2J slaps Roman across the head, calling him a "boy". Roman hits Jericho across the face before Jericho boots him in the face in return. Jericho then goes for a facebuster but Roman sends him crashing into the corner before slamming him into the mat.

Roman gets back on his feet and hits a couple of jumping clotheslines but the crowd mostly responds with vehement boos. Jericho then hits a springboard dropkick with Roman on the apron, sending Roman crashing into the mat. Reigns attempts a Drive-By on Jericho who moves out of the way, sending Roman crashing into the ring-post. 

Roman barely beats the 10-count as he makes his way to the ring as we head to commercial.

Jericho looks to get off the blocks quickly but Roman quickly hits back and almost clotheslines his head off. Roman then hits a Samon Drop as loud chants of "Let's go Roman" and even louder chants of "Roman Sucks" begins. Jericho hits a quick missile dropkick as Roman was distracted by the fans. The fans follows this up with chants of Y2J.

Roman Reigns (C) vs Chris Jericho (for the WWE United States Championship)

Roman makes his way down to the ring first, showered by the usual number of boos. BTW, great idea to push him too the moon WWE. Jericho is treated by the fans as a babyface as he makes his way down the ramp, inspecting the shark cage on the way. Can Chris Jericho become the new US Champion tonight? We find out next!
