WWE Universal Championship Match: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Seth Rollins (No Disqualification)


This is a no-disqualification match for the WWE Universal Championship between Kevin Owens, the current Universal Champion and Seth Rollins, with both Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns being banned from ringside.

Back from commercials, Kevin Owens makes his entrance. Seth Rollins comes out next. The two get introduced in the middle of the ring.

The match begins with Kevin Owens rolling out of the ring attempting to retrieve something from under the ring. Seth Rollins immediately kicks him and follows him outside. He then connects with a punch off the top rope onto Owens, with the two back in the ring. Rollins attempts a pin but Owens kicks out.

Rollins then goes out of the ring and brings a table inside. Owens takes advantage of the situation and slams Rollins to the mat. Owens covers Rollins with a pinfall attempt of his own but Rollins kicks out. Owens then pushes the table out of the ring and continues to beat Rollins down as we cut to commercials.

Back from the commercials, we see a couple of chairs lying in the ring as Owens covers Rollins for a pin that Rollins kicks out of. A highlight is shown of Kevin Owens driving Rollins on to the chair with a DDT. Owens then proceeds to slam a chair on to the back of Seth Rollins before punching him down.

Owens drives a chair into the midsection of Rollins and proceeds to hoist him on his shoulders but Rollins fights out of it. Rollins then brings Owens down after being Irish whipped to the ropes with a Slingblade.

Rollins then uses the momentum of a running Owens by lowering the rope and tossing him outside. Rollins then connects with a suicide Dive on Owens at ringside and brings him back in. He then sets up a chair in front of Owens and runs over it with a forearm across Owens' face. Rollins then drives Owens' face onto the chair and covers him for a pin as Owens kicks out in two. We cut to commercials.

Back from the commercials, Owens and Rollins are trading strikes in the middle of the ring. Rollins sidesteps a running Owens but Owens gets his own offence back. Rollins then connects with a knee to Owens' face but Owens punches him back. we see that Owens had driven Rollins through a table through the commercial and had even executed a Cannonball on him at ringside.

Back to the action, Rollins tries going for a Frog Splash on to a downed Owens but Owens move out. He then beats Rollins to the bottom turnbuckle, puts a chair against his face and manages to drive himself on to Rollins with the chair still against Rollins' face.

Owens then sets up a couple of chairs in the middle of the ring and drags Rollins for a powerbomb attempt. Rollins reverses it and drives Owens through the chairs instead. He attempts a pinfall on Owens but Owens kicks out.

Rollins gets out of the ring and brings another table inside. Rollins then sets up the table on the corner turnbuckle as Owens rolls him up for a pin attempt. Rollins superkicks Owens and covers him for another pin attempt, Owens kicks out.

The two men make it back to their feet and Rollins connects with a kick on to Owens. Rollins attempts to get on to the top rope but Owens stops his advances by punching him. Owens climbs to the middle rope himself and tries to go for a suplex on Rollins, Rollins reverses it and powerbombs Owens through the table instead.

Rollins covers Owens for a nearfall as Owens kicks out and rolls out of the ring. Rollins then proceeds to beat Rollins down at ringside and takes the fight into the crowd as some very animated fans continue to support Owens. Owens tries to walk away from the situation but Rollins continues to chase him around the arena.

Rollins then drives Owens through a trashcan and throws it on to Owens. Owens then hoists Rollins on to his shoulders but Rollins climbs the fencing and connects on Owens with a flying axehandle instead.

The two continue to fight and eventually make it back onto ringside with Rollins reversing a move by Kevin Owens tossing him into the ring. Rollins attempts to go for a high flying move on Owens from the barricading but his leg gets pulled by a person in a mask.

Rollins pulls the mask off to reveal that the person was none other than Chris Jericho himself. Rollins then beats Jericho down and connects with a pedigree. Owens takes advantage of this situation and hits Rollins with a superkick. He then finishes Rollins up with a Pop-up powerbomb on to the ring apron, rolls him into the ring and finishes him off with the pinfall.

Result: Kevin Owens defeats Seth Rollins via Pinfall and retains the WWE Universal Championship

Cruiserweight Match: TJ Perkins vs. Noam Dar vs. Rich Swan (Triple Threat match for #1 Contendership)


Brian Kendrick makes his entrance first as we cut to commercials.

Back from the commercials, we see Rich Swann make his entrance as Brian Kendrick is seen at the Commentator's desk. Noam Dar makes his entrance next and waves to Brian Kendrick. TJ Perkins is the last to come out.

The three shake hands and Noam Dar punches Rich Swann as TJ Perkins headbutts him from ringside. TJ Perkins then goes on the top rope and attempts to floor Noam Dar but Noam avoids it and tosses Perkins outside instead. Perkins holds on to the ropes but Noam Dar dropkicks him outside anyway.

In the ring, Rich Swann and Noam Dar battle it out as Swann connects with a series of chops. A dropkick from Dar to the left leg of Swann wipes him out as he winces in pain. We cut to commercials.

Back from the commercials, Noam Dar is seen working on the leg of Rich Swann as TJ Perkins interferes. Noam, while still locking in the submission hold, overpowers Perkins and Suplexes him into a bridged pin while still attempting to submit Swann. Perkins kicks out.

Noam Dar continues to beat Rich Swann down against the ropes and goes to the top rope as Swann Hurricanranas him off the top rope instead. Noam Dar gets back into the match however, after landing an uppercut on to Rich Swann.

TJ Perkins eventually connects with a spinning kick across the face of Noam Dar and knocks him out. He locks Swann into a submission hold but Noam Dar breaks it. Noam Dar and TJ Perkins get into a back and forth which culminates in Perkins trying to submit Noam Dar instead.

Rich Swann connects with a Rich Kick on to TJ Perkins and pins him for the win.

Result: Rich Swans defeats TJ Perkins and Noam Dar via Pinfall and is the #1 contender for the Cruiserweight Title

Tag Team Match: Nia Jax and Charlotte vs. Bayley and Sasha Banks


Back from the commercials, we discover that Mick Foley had made this match during the commercial break. Charlotte is seen getting beaten down in the middle of the ring by Bayley. Sasha Banks gets tagged in and puts in some of her own offence before Bayley tags herself in again and Irish whips Charlotte, Charlotte reverses the momentum and connects with an elbow.

Nia Jax gets tagged in and immediately takes down Bayley with a Body block and proceeds to connect with a clothesline. She pins Bayley but Bayley kicks out. Bayley then gets tossed outside the ring by Nia Jax, where Dana Brooke wipes her out with a clothesline of her own as Nia Jax distracts the referee. Charlotte gets tagged in and puts Bayley in a headlock as Bayley attempts to power out of the hold, only to get slammed to the mat by Charlotte instead.

Charlotte drags Bayley to her corner and tags Nia Jax in. Nia Jax puts Bayley into a hold and proceeds to bodyslam her to the mat. Bayley gets out of the way of an elbow drop by Nia Jax and Charlotte gets tagged in. Bayley manages to connect with a monkey flip on to Charlotte and tags Sasha Banks in. Banks starts beating down Charlotte and connects with a Lateral press off the top rope as well as a further series of offensive moves. Nia Jax interferes a pin attempt on Charlotte by Sasha Banks.

Jax attempts to go for a double chokeslam on both Bayley and Sasha Banks but the two manage to suplex her instead. Charlotte rolls Sasha up, taking advantage of the distraction, for a pin attempt but Sasha kicks out. Sasha then locks Charlotte into a Banks' Statement hold and Charlotte, almost immediately, taps out.

Result: Sasha Banks and Bayley defeat Nia Jax and Charlotte (with Dana Brooke)

Segment: Charlotte explains her actions


Charlotte makes her entrance to the ring with Dana Brooke by her side and a video package is shown, chronicling her actions at Survivor Series where she beat Bayley down after their victory at Survivor Series. 

Charlotte begins to talk and says that she'll be watching the footage of her beating Bayley down on the WWE Network for years to come. She calls herself the Wayne Gretzky of the WWE and then says that she's even better. She then calls the rest of the Raw women peasants as Sasha Banks makes her entrance. 

Charlotte mockingly asks Sasha Banks how she was doing. Sasha Banks reminds Charlotte about her rematch clause. She then says that she wanted her rematch 'right here, right now', Charlotte then asks the crowd if they wanted to see a rematch. The crowd emphatically respond affirmatively and Charlotte teases the match happening but then says that it wasn't going to happen tonight. 

Charlotte then calls the crowd 'Dumb Canadians" and says that because Raw was in her hometown next week, she'd beat her there instead. Nia Jax makes her entrance.  

Nia Jax says that she wasn't there for Charlotte but for Sasha Banks instead. She calls Sasha an overrated, purple headed Barbie Doll who was overrated. Sasha then says that she was going to show Nia who was overrated. 

Charlotte eggs Nia Jax on. Jax tells her that she was not the boss when Nia Jax was standing next to her. Sasha Banks punches Dana Brooke who was screaming at her, which prompts Nia Jax to start beating her down.

Charlotte and Nia Jax double team on Sasha Banks, with Jax holding her by the arms and Charlotte hitting her with chops. Bayley runs towards the ring as Jax tosses Banks out and punches Bayley to the ringside as well.

Bayley is seen holding on to Sasha, staring back at Charlotte, Dana Brooke and Nia Jax as we cut to commercials.

Segment: Kevin Owens interviewed backstage


Kevin Owens says that he didn't get pinned in the match, did exactly what he promised and even powerbombed AJ Styles so hard that his 'stupid hair' almost fell off his head. 

He then calls Seth Rollins a failure and blames him for getting pinned and failing team Raw. He admits that Seth Rollins is good but that he needs to be punished, just like Stephanie McMahon would have wanted. He says that he will be punishing Seth Rollins for failing Team Raw and Owens in the no disqualification match.
