Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens vs Big Cass - Fata-4-Way Elimination Match for the WWE Universal Championship

The much awaited WWE Universal Championship match is up next. Who will win it and become the second WWE Universal Champion? Will it be the predictable choice - Rollins or Reigns, or something unexpected - Kevin Owens? One thing we all probably know is that Big Cass isn't going home with the belt.

Either way, this one will be good.

Roman Reigns is out first with a wall of boos. However, to his defence, there are almost as many cheers as boos. But, it sounds like the audios being messed with a little as the audience sound suddenly got drowned out. Is this a sign that Roman is winning?

Rollins gets a huge pop as he comes out next. He's definitely the favourite to win today.

Surprisingly, Big Cass gets the biggest pop of the four competitors. He's definitely the wildcard for today's match. Enzo is out with him and they do their usual shtick. The Certified-G's are in the HOUSE! Cass says that he'll win the Universal Championship and shock the world.

Brace yourselves folks. We're in for one hell of a ride.

We start off as KO rolls out of the ring immediately to chill on the outside next to Foley and Steph. Cass and Reigns throw Rollins out and face off. As they face off, KO and Rollins come back in and attack the duo.

KO and Reigns go at it on the outside as Rollins tries to suplex Big Cass inside the ring. Bad idea from Rollins as Cass easily counters. Reigns rolls KO into the ring and stomps a mudhole into him in the corner.

Rollins gets sent to the outside as Cass and Reigns face off again. Reigns laughs in Cass' face and punches him. He then dodges a clothesline to dish out one of his own. Reigns then goes for a Superman Punch but Cass counters with the most devastating looking BIG BOOT that I've ever seen and they tumble over the top rope.

Both men are on the outside as Rollins hits them with a suicide dive. KO then plants Rollins face first into the barricade. Roman follows this up with a suicide dive of his own on KO and Cass as we head for another commercial break. I miss the Raw's back in the day when the main event didn't have commercial breaks.

BIg Cass and KO are going at it on the outside as we come back. Owens lays out Cass before screaming at Foley. The momentary distraction lets Rollins take the chance and take KO out.

Rollins rolls Cass into the ring and has him in a headlock and KO rolls back in and walks over. With Rollins busy with containing Cass in a headlock, KO straight up punches him in the face.

KO has Cass in the corner and sets him up for the cannonball. However, Seth grabs his leg and pulls him to the outside and sends him crashing into the barricade. He comes back into the ring and mocks Cass. However, Reigns takes advantage and clotheslines the hell out of Rollins. He then clotheslines KO. As Reigns celebrates, Cass hits him with another vicious Big Boot.

He then clears the ring before delivering a Big Boot to KO. Rollins rolls him up for the near fall. WHAT A MATCH!

Reigns hits Cass with a Superman Punch out of nowhere, following which he goes for a spear to Rollins. Rollins dodges and sends Reigns crashing into the corner and he then gives Cass a Superkick. KO goes to the top rope and lands a huge frog splash on the 7-footer. 1-2-3!

Big Cass is eliminated

As we come back from commercial we get an epic spot from the three remaining competitors. Powerbomb from Reigns to KO who has Rollins in a suplex. Reigns then covers both Rollins and KO for nearfalls.

Roman has Seth in the corner and he pounds Seth. Seth tries to hit back with a spin kick but Roman dodges it and hits back. Roman then goes for a Superman Punch which Rollins dodges. Undeterred, Roman goes for another Superman Punch which Rollins counters into a Falcoln Arrow.

Rollins then goes fo a Pedigree but Roman powers him out of the ring onto the apron. Rollins hits back with an enzeguiri and goes for a springboard knee which Roman counters with a Superman Punch for the nearfall.

Roman has Rollins in his sight for a spear but Rollins counters as KO comes in and hits Rollins with a superkick. Dual canonballs to Roman and Rollins from KO. As Owens goes for a third Canonball Roman counters with a Superman punch for the 2-count. He sets Owens up for the spear but KO counters with a superkick.

Owens foolows up by trying to set Reigns up for the Pop-up Powerbomb but he gets a Superman Punch for his troubles.

All three competitors are outsid as TRIPLE H INTERFERES! Triple H Perdigrees Roman on the outside and Roman is OUT!

Triple H rolls Rollins back in the ring and he goes for the cover. 1-2-3!

Roman is eliminated.

Triple H walks over and rolls Owens into the ring to set Rollins up for the win.

TRIPLE H TURNS ON SETH ROLLINS AND PEDIGREES HIM!

Triple H gestures to Kevin Owens to covers Rollins. KO goes for the cover. 1 - 2 - 3!!!!!!!

Seth Rollins is pinnerd and KEVIN OWENS IS THE NEW WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPION!

Shocking way for the match to end as the era of Owens begins. The crowd chants "You deserve it" to Owens.

Welcome to the Kevin Owens show.

Darren Young vs Titus o' Neil

The match no one wants to see is up next, Darren Young taking on Titus O' Neil. Both competitors came out to crickets from the crowd and clearly this is the toilet-break match before the main event.

The match starts off as the two exchange blows before Titus throws Young to the outside. Titus is the worst heel and actor EVER! His trash talking is absolutely the worst and he just repeatedly yells "You owe me" at Darren Young.

Young finally tries to hit back with forearms but Titus dishes out a sweet Pumphandle Slam followed by a chin lock and a clothesline.

Darren Young then rolls up Titus for the 3-count in the most underwhelming finish ever.

THIS MATCH WAS TERRIBLE.

Darren Young def. Titus O' Neil

Titus attacks both Darren Young and Bob Backlund after the match and laid both of them out. He continues to yell "You owe me" as he wals away. Terrible.

Owens is out next to a massive pop from the audience. He looks fired up and clearly realizes that this is the biggest match of his career. I can't be unbiased today, I want a KO win.

Stephanie McMahon is out next to confront Paul Heyman about Brock Lesnar's actions at SummerSlam. She comes out and says that no one messed with her family and there would be consequences. However, she gets interrupted by Paul Heyman who respectfully asks Stephanie to indulge him.

She has none of it and asks Paul to stop beating about the bush and get in the ring. The crowd chants ECW and CM Punk as the segments gets under way.

Heyman tells Steph that when Brock destroyed Orton, Raw won SummerSlam. However, he admits that Brock crossed the line when he F5-ed Shane McMahon. He says that he dropped on his knees to beg Lesnar to stay off Shane and he was here to pay the $500 fine that had been levied on Brock.

Heyman counts the one dollar bills but Steph slaps the money away. Stephanie says that Brock might have provided value to Raw but Heyman didn't and she would teach him a lesson for patronizing her.

He says that a storm was coming and Brock was that storm. Heyman says that he realizes Steph has to answer to the board of directors. He says that he and Brock understands that Stephanie is the heir to the WWE throne and he apologizes and begs for forgiveness for Brock's actions.

Stephanie accepts the apology and walks away.

Braun Strowman vs Americo

Another squash match is up next. Braun Strowman takes on Americo who doesn't even get a chance to explain why he has a chance against Braun Strowman.
Americo's tiny compared to Strowman who delivers knee after knee to Americo before charging him into the corner repeatedly. He follows it up by planting Americo face first into the mat for the pinfall.

This one didn't even last a minute.

Strowman follows it up by taking Americo's mask and taking it off and throwing it away.

Ceasro vs Sheamus

Sheamus comes out first and addressed the WWE Universe from the ring. He says that Cesaro's jealous of him. Sheamus says that Cesaro's been trying to be WWE Champion all his life but he would be terribly disappointed when he finds out that Sheamus is the better man.

Cesaro comes out next but it seems like the crowd are dead for this one even before its begun.

The two begin with some chain wrestling as Cesaro rolls Sheamus up seconds into the match as Sheamus grabs at the ropes. Sheamus then takes control as the crowd begins to chant "You look stupid" at him. The crowd follows it up with chants of "Sheamus sucks" as Cesaro finally takes control.

Sheamus is reeling outside as Cesaro follows him out and delivers a series of his patented uppercuts. Sheamus gets Irish whipped into the ropes as Cesaro clotheslines him to the outside. As Sheamus tries to climb back in Cesaro delivers a big boot right to his face as we head into the commercial break.

Sheamus is in control as we come back from the break. He delivers a devastating Irish Curse Backbreaker to Cesaro and he goes for a Cloverleaf submission which Cesaro counters out of and hits back with a springboard Corkscrew Uppercut.

Cesaro goes for the giant swing but somehow manages to convert it into a sitdown powerbomb. Sheamus goes for the pinfall after a rollup but Cesaro kicks out at 2 and a half after Sheamus uses the ropes to leverage his pin.

Cesaro uses the distraction to deliver running uppercuts to Sheamus who runs to the outside after a dropkick. As Cesaro goes to take out Sheamus, Sheamus back body drops him into the steel ring post. Cesaro looks hurt as Sheamus throws him into the ring and locks in the Cloverleaf. Cesaro immediately taps out and this one is a surprise.

Sheamus picks up the win to go 2-0 up in the best of 7 series.

The New Day and Bayley vs The Club and Dana Brooke

The New Day comes out first, followed by Bayley who receives a massive ovation from the crowd. The four of them make their way to the ring as Kofi throws Booty-O's out to the crowd. The match should be spectacularly entertaining if nothing else.

Dana Brooke and The Club come out next and they look great together. Dana can definitely be the link missing from taking The Club to the next level. Hopefully, this is a permanent pairing.

Bayley and Dana Brooke start us off. Bayley has Dana in a shoulder lock straight away but Dana powers out and she tries to drive Bayley into the corner. Bayley counters and throws her face first into the corner.

Big E and Anderson get tagged in. Anderson gets a belly-to-belly from Big E followed up by a double team between him and Kofi. Anderson takes control after Gallows hits Big E with a cheapshot.

Gallows gets tagged in. He goes for a jumping elbow drop but missed and Kofi and Karl Anderson get tagged in. Kofi dishes out a flurry of dropkicks followed by a jumping leg drop.

Kofi gets Anderson in the corner and The New Day begin the Unicorn Stampede which is finished off by Bayley. Dana gets tagged in by Anderson but Bayley immediately throws her out of the ring which leads us into the commercial break.

We come back from the break with Anderson giving Kofi a vicious spinebuster. He tags in Gallows who hangs Kofi upside down in the corner which he follows up with a dropkick as Dana Brooke trash talks Kofi from the outside. Gallows has Kofi in a headlock.

Gallows tags in Anderson who walks over to Kofi with a vicious look on his face. He pulls down his knee pad and goes for a jumping knee drop which he misses. As Kofi goes to tag in Big E, Gallows pulls Big E away. Kofi tags in Bayley as Anderson tags in Dana.

Bayley has Dana in the corner immediately and delivers a snap suplex. As things break down, Dana rolls Bayley up for the two-count.

Bayley kicks out and hits the BAYLEY-TO-BELLY! 1-2-3. Bayley pins Dana for the second week in a row.

We get an update on Sasha's injury after the break. Sasha's says that she knew she was in danger in the match against Charlotte but she didn't think Charlotte won't go low enough to try and end her career. She calls Charlotte a coward who hides behind her dad and Dana Brooke.

The mixed tag is up next with Charlotte on commentary.

Sami Zayn vs Jinder Mahal

Sami Zayn is out next to a raucous reaction from the live crowd. Jinder Mahal, of all people, is waiting in the ring for him.

Sami starts off in a flurry and Jinder has a hard time keeping up with Zayn. Jinder pokes Sami in the eye for the advantage but Zayn hits back with a spin kick.

WWE are still making a deal about Sami's kayfabe ankle injury last week as Jinder works on it. Jinder hits Sami with a running dropkick to the head. Sami gets back up and hits Jinder with a clothesline followed an exploder suplex to the corner.

He follows it up with a Helluva Kick. This one is over. As easy as ABC for Sami tonight.

Neville vs Chris Jericho

Neville takes on Chris Jericho in the first match of the night. Jericho's disses Neville in his pre-match promo and calls him "Mighty Mouse" and says that he'll give Neville the gift of Jericho.

Neville looks fired up today and starts off with a series of chops and punches followed by a crossbody. He launches Jericho to the outside and does a Richochet-like dive taunt on the ropes.

As Jericho is pre-occupied with the fans outside the ring, Neville comes up behind him and kicks him in the gut before throwing him back into the ring. Neville goes to the top rope and launches himself at Jericho which leads to a two count.

Jericho hides behind the referee and takes over just as we head into the commercial break.

We return from the break with Jericho getting a two-count after a springboard elbow. He holds Neville in a chin lock. Neville breaks out of the hold and hits back with stiff kicks to the chest and head. Jericho tries to counter with a double axe handle but Neville delivers another kick to his chest which he follows up with a standing Shooting Star Press. Neville makes it all look so easy.

Jericho rolls out but Neville gives him a running kick from the apron which he follows up with a Asai Moonsault from the apron. He drags Jericho back inside which he follows up with a spiringboard missile dropkick for the 2 count. Frustrations beginning to show on Neville's face.

Neville tries to follow it up with a deadlift German Suplex but Jericho counters into a Walls of Jericho which is countered into a rollup for the two counts. Neville goes to the top rope for the Red Arrow but Jericho moves away and Neville lands on his feet.

Raw kicks off today with the four competitors for the Universal title in the ring with Corey Graves introducing them. Rollins begins and says he doesn't need mic time, wich he gives to Owens.

Owens starts off with his usual mockery. He says that Roman might fight hard but he fights smart which counts for more. He also says that Big Cass has no chance of winning later to which Cass replies that he has nothing to lose because no one expects him to win.

However, Cass says that also he's new, he's also the biggest dog in the fight and that size does matter, unlike what Seth has been telling himself for years. Rollins demands to have his time back after this and says that he's going to win and no one will stand in his way. Rollins says that three things are certain in life - death, taxes and Rollins beats Reigns every time.

Roman gets up to speak next and gets vehemently booed as usual. Instead of talking he cheapshots Owens. Cass takes out Rollins. Roman throws Cass out of the ring and gives a Superman Punch to Rollins.

Roman stands tall at the end of the segment to a smattering of boos.
