WWE Raw Results January 16th 2017, live updates; Brock Lesnar returns

Owens stands tall over Roman Reigns to end the show.

Rollins saves Roman. He hits Jericho with the pedigree, after which Owens then hits Rollins with a steel chair. Roman tries to spear Kevin Owens but Owens stops him and then hits him with a steel chair and follows it up by smashing Roman through the table.

Rollins takes out Owens and Jericho from outside, while Zayn jumps and strikes down Strowman. He gets a two-count but goes flying.Zayn was going for the Helluva kick but Strowman bulldozes him. Strowman then hits him with the slam. Strowman pins Zayn to win.

After the match, he drags Zayn to the announce table. Rollins saved Zayn when he hit Strowman with a steel chair. Roman then hit him with as pear. Rollins started clearing the announcer's table, but Jeri-KO interrupted. They are planning to put Roman through the table.

After the commercial brak, Owens is back in fighting Roman Reigns. He has Reigns in the chinlock, but he escapes, ad counters into a Samoan drop. Rollins gets the tag, while Owens tags in Jericho.. Seth Rollinshits two forearms to the face.

Rollins hits a suicide dive on Jericho wile Zayn hits one on Owens. Strowman even tries charging at Zayn, but Zayn moves, so Strowman hit the ring post.

Owens has the advantage, and only manages to get little offence. Roman gets a hot tag. He dominates Owen and Jericho. Strowman tries to get a tag but Reigns attempts a Superman punch. Strowman catches him by the neck and shoves him, getting the tag.

After the break, Roman Reigns is being dominated by Jericho. He manages to tag in Zayn who starts getting the offence on Jericho. Kevin Owens tags in and starts attacking his former best friend.

The main event starts with a brawl before the bell even rings. Rollins and Zayn were disposed of, along with Jeri-KO. Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman have a standoff, and Strowman throws Reigns out of the ring.

Goldberg returns to RAW next week

A video package announcing Kurt Angle's induction to the Hall Of Fame is shown.

Backstage, Alicia is walking, and Mike Rome asks her if her relationship with Cedric is over. She says that she and Cedric are fine. Rome asks if it has anything to do with her helping Noam Dar on 205 Live. She screams saying that she doesn't want to talk about it.

Kurt Angle's Hall Of Fame indudction announcement is up next.

Nia Jax in the back says that Sasha is not the boss anymore, and that people are finally buzzing about the right woman.

Kendrick starts to make a comeback. Noam Dar is watching from behind on the television. Cedric hits a vicious elbow on Kendrick, followed by a shoulder onto the gut..Kendrick counters enough to get the captain's hook. Alicia Fox comes out and assists Cedric by pushing the rope so he could hold it. When he exits the ring, he asks Alicia what she's doing. Kendrick then slides from the middle rope and kicked Cedric. Kendrick tells Alicia to leave. As he enters the ring and tries to go or another Captain's hook, Cedric hits the Lumbar check for the win. He teases getting back with Alicia, and as he goes to hug her, he slides underneath. Noam Dar continues to watch carefully from back.

Cedric starts with the offence. Cedric shows off some impressive athleticism, hitting a springboard sling moonsault. Austin Aries praises Cedric on commentary, saying that he just needs to find the focus.

Kevin Owens and Jericho approach Strowman to start discussing a stratergy for their upcoming match. They tell Strowman to destroy Roman Reigns so he can get injured for two weeks. Jericho tells Strowman to pulvarize Seth Rollins. Strowman says that he does whatever he wants. He says he'll make the Reigns, Rollins, and Zayn scream for their lives.

The crowd starts chanting "We want Bayey". Charlotte says that all of it are just failed dreams. Bayley finally comes out to a huge pop. Charlotte quickly fleds the ring. Bayley asks Charlotte what she's doing, and tells her it's unnecessary to bring up whatever she did. Bayley says that she is not ashamed of the love and passion she has. She cuts a passionate promo about being a fan and having a father who would take her to every WWE event in California. The crowd shows great appreciation towards The Hugger. She recited a small poem saying:

"Roses are red
Violets are blue
At the Royal Rumble
I will defeat you"

Charlotte says that Bayley was a poet too as a child. She shows scanned copies of Bayley's poems as children. She says that while she was writing poems, Charlotte was busy winning state awards and championships. She even took a jab at one of the crowd members. After this, she played a clip of Bayley reading an old essay of hers about becoming a wrestler. She starts reading a copy of it which she was carrying.

Charlotte makes her way out of the ring. She says she didn't become the PPV queen nor women's champion overnight. She said apart from the fact that she's genetically superior, she's outworked everyone. She says that when you look up "average" in the dictionary, you get Bayley. She starts bashing Bayley and the WWE Universe. She then shows an old picture of Bayley and John Cena when Bayley was a teenager. She showed more pictures, with the likes of Rob Van Dam, Bret Hart,etc.

Big E makes a comeback. He gives the belly-to belly to Titus. Big E hits the big ending on Titus for the win

Titus O' Neil gives an impressively strong slam to Big E. Big E manages to kick out at 2. Big E starts the offence again and he slams Big E. He mocks Big E with his rope-to-rope, but instead of a splash, he hits the leg drop. He even starts slapping Big E's bottom saying "Titus rocks"

Titus shoved Xavier to the ground on the outside. Xavier tries to go after him but Kofi serves as the voice of reason to him.

Big E is the member of The New Day who Titus is facing. If Big E loses, Titus gets his Rumble spot.

Titus O' Neil says that he will replace the New Day at the Rumble. He tells them to hook up a spot for him at the Rumble. Titus then tells The New Day to huddle and decide who will face him so he can take their Rumble spot.
Kofi trolls Titus by saying that if he knew when to call a huddle, he'd still be playing American Football.

The New Day are out. They start talking about the Royal Rumble and how stacked it is. They start talking about "foe vs foe" and "friend vs friend". They then said that if any of them wins, they will all win the Rumble. Titus O' Neil then interferes, much to the frustration of Xavier

Mike Rome asks Neville why he attacked Rich Swann knowing he has a match with him at the Rumble. Neville asks Rome whether he doesn't remember what happened last week. He asks him whether he has any compassion

Tony Nese vs Rich Swann. Just as Swann made his entrance to the ring. Neville suddenly attacks Swann from behind. Swann begins to fight back. Tony Nese then starts attacking Swann. Neville and Nese have an argument and fight to attack Swann. Neville throws Nese out and stands tall.

Backstage, Sami Zayn is rambling on about stratergy for the main event. Roman and Rollins assure him that they've done this before. Zayn even sticks his hand out, imitating the Shield. Reigns and Rollins walk out.

A 6-man Tag Team match announced for later tonight. Zayn, Rollins, and Reigns vs Owens, Jericho and Strowman

Sheamus interrupts and knocks out the referee by accident. They dispose of Sheamus and hit Cesaro with the magic killer. A new referee comes in and counted 3. We thought we had new champions, but the knocked out referee said that Anderson and Gallows won by DQ.

Cesaro hit the Swiss-One-Nine on Anderson. Cesaro jumped Gallows on the outside from the ringpost, and when Anderson was about to hit a suicide dive, Cesaro caught him with an uppercut. A springboard corkscrew uppercut led to a Cesaro swing. Gallows gave a big boot to Cesaro when Cesaro tried hitting a sharp shooter. Only a two count for The Club.

Back from the break, Anderson and Gallows are dominating Sheamus. They get a near fall, but a frustrated Anderson tags Gallows in, telling him to finish things. Cesaro managed to get the hot tag, while Anderson was tagged in again. A series of uppercuts plus a dropkick resulting in only a two count.

Sheamus started smashing Gallows chest. Anderson tries to stop it but Cesaro sweeps his leg attempting to do the swing. Anderson escapes, and manages to ruffle things up, leading to Gallows attacking Sheamus.

Sheamus quickly tags in and gives a shoulder tackle to Gallows from the top rope. The Celtic Warrior hits a flying clothesline on Gallows.

Things turned when Gallows tagged in. Anderson was tagged in again, getting offense on Cesaro

Cesaro and Sheamus start off extremely dominant against Karl Anderson, completely overpowering him.
