Orton rolls Zayn into the ring and Nakamura hits the Kinshasa. Orton then hits the RKO to put the finishing touches. 1-2-3.

Orton rams Zayn with the steel steps  before dumping Zayn over the announce table before backdropping him onto it.

AJ Styles attacks Owens with a steel chair on the entrance ramp. He follows Owens to the back as Nakamura and Orton corner Zayn.

Both men make tags. Orton hits Zayn with a draping DDT and goes for an RKO when Owens comes in with a steel chair. Owens decimates Orton and Nakamura before turning his attention to AJ Styles.

Shane McMahon is out again and restarts the match as No DQ

We're back from commercial as Zayn has a headlock in place on Styles. Sami tags in KO who continues working on Styles. Styles hits back with an Ushi Goroshi as both men go down.

Styles, Orton and Nakamura charge at Owens and Zayn as we head to commercial.

Owens and AJ are legal now as Styles hits Owens with a nasty combo. He goes for the Styles Clash but Zayn grabs Owens' leg and pulls him out of the ring. Owens and Sami start walking away and Shane McMahon's music hits. Not again. He makes it a no-countout match.

Owens tags Zayn in as Nakamura tags himself in. Nakamura unloads on Zayn with a series of kicks before feeling the Good Vibrations in the corner.

AJ Styles, Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

After a bunch of elaborate entrances, we're finally about to begin. Owens and Orton start us off. Orton goes for an early RKO and a frustrated Owens leaves the ring.

We're backstage with Shane and Daniel Bryan. Shane says that Bryan is coming off as erratic to which Daniel hits back, saying he could say the same for Shane especially looking at his gene pool.

Breeze looks to stop Rusev but gets tossed out of the ring for his trouble. Fandango uses the opportunity to roll up Rusev and pin him.

Fashion Police def. Rusev and Aiden English

English hits Breeze with a side kick before heading to the top rope and missing a senton. English misses as clothesline as Fandango tags himself in. Fandango lights up with knife-edged chops. Rusev tags himself in and catches Fandango with multiple kicks to the head. He follows it with a running heel kick. Rusev Day chants break out as Rusev sets Fandango up for the Accolade.

Fashion Police vs Rusev and Aiden English

English and Fandangpo get us started. Fandango hangs English up on the top rope and boots him in the head. Great start for the Fashion Police as English regroups with Rusev at ringside as we cut to commercial.

Aiden English was out in the ring with Rusev. English sang and announced that they would be winning the Rusev Rumble match on Rusev Day.

Don't go anywhere, Rusev Day is next.

Gable has no sympathy for the referee and said he felt that Bryan was acting out since his boss Shane McMahon was mad at him. Gable asks what they have to do, beat The Usos twice in one night? That gave Bryan a great idea as booked a 2 out of 3 falls match for the Royal Rumble.

Daniel Bryan is out to talk to Benjamin and Gable. Bryan says that taking a shot at the referee is taking a shot at management. He says that Gable and Benjamin pinned the wrong Uso.

Gable and Jordan are clearly not happy with the decision last week as they continue talking about the referee. Benjamin thinks that the referee who made the call was jealous as Gable adds that he was not a winner, he was a thief. This promo is going nowhere. Gable adds that they didn't lose to The Usos lat week, but they lost to instant replay.

Gable and Jordan is out. Jordan is giving out early Kurt Angle vibes as he runs down the crowd, asking them if they know what it was like to be a winner. Shelton adds that just because the Univ. of Alabama won a championship, no one in the crowd was a winner. He also added that Georgia got robbed by the ref because of a bad call, just like the two of them last week.

Natalya's WWE Mixed Match Challenge partner will be Shinsuke Nakamura.

Ryder regroups and almost hits the Broski Boot, only Rawley to roll out. Mojo comes back with a vengeance, hitting a nasty looking neckbreaker. Rawley then rams Ryder shoulder-first into the post before hitting the running Knockout Punch for the 3-count. Not an exciting match, shouldn't have been a part of this tournament.

Mojo faces off with Bobby Roode after the match. Nothing to write home about.

One of the most anticipated rematches of the year? Certainly not. Bobby Roode is at ringside for this one as Ryder starts off on top with a dropkick. Rawley's size and strength superiority soon comes in as Rawley has Ryder down and works on him.

The Bludgeon Brothers vs The Ascension

The Bludgeon Brothers face The Ascension next. This match could end quick. The Ascension rush Harper and it looks like they have a gameplan but the end comes quick. Harper boots Viktor before taking Konnor out on the apron. Harper tags in Rowan and they hit a double-team Powerbomb for the win.

Konnor gets into the ring to check on Viktor but Harper and Rowan take him out too.

Abdominal stretch from Riott but Becky hits her with an armdrag and rolls her up for a 2. Becky follows it up with a flurry of forearms followed by an uppercut which took Riott down. Becky follows it up with a couple of Bexplex's  but Riott replies with a kick to Becky's ribs. No nonsense from Riott as she looks to set up the Riott Kick. Becky reverses it and locks in the Dis-Arm-Her. Riott taps, a victory on return for Becky Lynch.

We're back from commercial and Riott is on top. She has her legs wrapped around Becky's mid-section. Becky tries to lean back and pin Riott but it's only a 1 count. Becky hits back with an elbow and some punches to the mid-section but Riott is still on top as she drives her knee into Becky's gut.

Becky Lynch vs Ruby Riott

Becky takes Ruby down as soon as the bell rings. The Lasskicker continues her offence and not even a distraction from Logan can stop her. She flings Riott out of the ring as we head to commercial.

Becky Lynch is out next. Becky will face Ruby Riott next. Charlotte comes out to accompany Becky with a full entrance. Naomi followed Charlotte out.

Shane adds that he is also baffled as to why KO and Zayn were in a handicap match against Styles. Be that as it may, Shane adds that be backs Bryan's decision. Shane adds that he wants a handicap match right here tonight. He added that KO and Sami would team up to face Nakamura, Orton and AJ Styles. On the last one, Shane weirdly whispered to a kid in the crowd who barely reacted.

KO adds that Styles will need a miracle to retain at the Rumble and Sami just yep's along. Owens adds that he and Sami would become the first ever co-WWE Champions. Owens adds that they would turn SmackDown into the Sami and Kevin Show. Predictably, Shane O' Mac's music hits.

Owens asks the fans to give it up for the WWE Champion before going on to call him the remorseful AJ Styles. Owens accused Styles o putting his foot in his mouth last week, which was now forcing him to backtrack.

AJ says that a couple of people believed that Bryan was playing favourites but he refused to point fingers. He added that he didn't want to lose his title now and vowed to beat KO and Sami on the same night. Kevin Owens' music hits.

Renee is out in the middle to interview AJ. She asks him whether he thinks the handicap match is fair. AJ replies that he's human and a handicap match may be a bridge too far. He says there's a chance he could lose his title but theres a chance he could beat the hell out of Owens and Zayn. AJ added that his strategy was to hit fast because the longer the match went on the less chance he'd have to win.

Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley clash in final U.S. Title Tournament First Round Match

The first round of the United States Championship Tournament comes to a close this week on SmackDown LIVE, as Zack Ryder clashes with Mojo Rawley the final opening round showdown.There’s no love lost between the former Hype Bros, after Rawley unceremoniously turned his back on Ryder and defeated him at WWE Clash of Champions. Long Island Iced Z wants to reclaim the star-spangled title and get payback on his former friend.


Becky Lynch returns to action against Ruby Riott

Becky Lynch hasn’t forgotten what The Riott Squad did to her during their first night on SmackDown LIVE. A vicious attack by Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan put The Irish Lass-Kicker on the shelf for over a month. However, Becky’s back, and she’s out for retribution.She’ll get her first crack at The Riott Squad on Tuesday night, when she battles Riott in one-on-one action. Lynch won’t be alone, though – she’ll have SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Naomi in her corner to counteract any meddling Morgan & Logan might be considering.


Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable demand justice

Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable thought they had defeated The Usos and won the SmackDown Tag Team Titles last week. The referee counted three as Gable pinned Jimmy Uso, setting off a celebration. However, the official soon realized that neither Gable nor Jimmy were the legal Superstars in the battle, rendering his decision null and void, and he ordered the match to restart. The Usos stayed focused after the restart and walked out victorious with their titles in hand.However, Gable & Benjamin are not going away quietly following the controversial ending. WWE.com has learned that the two are “demanding justice” after last week’s battle. The Ascension battle The Bludgeon Brothers

After saving their best friends from another bludgeoning at the hands of Harper & Rowan, The Ascension will get a crack at The Bludgeon Brothers this week on SmackDown LIVE.Konnor & Viktor inadvertently fed their best friends, Tyler Breeze & Fandango, to the wolves over the past few weeks, volunteering them for rematches against the hammer-wielding monsters. After being saved from a beatdown by The Ascension, The Fashion Police showed Konnor & Viktor a great deal of gratitude but said it was time for The Bludgeon Brothers to face someone their own size. With that, Breeze & Fandango went to Daniel Bryan and got The Ascension a match with Harper & Rowan this week.
