Here's a quick recap of what happened on tonight's episode of SmackDown.

Daniel Bryan's resignation as SmackDown GM was followed by the announcement that Paige will take his place as GM.
The Usos def. The New Day to become No. 1 Contenders for Tag Titles
Naomi def. Natalya
Peyton Royce and Billie Kay a.k.a the Iconic Duo make their SmackDown debut
Carmella def. Charlotte to become the new SmackDown Women's Champion after cashing in MITB on a downed Charlotte
Randy Orton def. Bobby Roode & Rusev to become the No. 1 contender for the United States title
AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan ends in a DQ after an interruption from Shinsuke Nakamura

This is Jojo signing off after yet another action-packed episode of SmackDown which added to all the surprises from the entire WrestleMania week.

Bryan delivers kicks before they climb up the ropes and AJ falls with his body weight on Bryan. The two are down as Nakamura steps in and delivers a Kinshasa to Bryan before delivering one more to AJ. The match is called off due to the interruption and Nakamura attacks AJ a couple more times before exiting the ring.

AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan ends in a DQ

Styles sets up for the phenomenal forearm but catches Bryan's kick with his midsection. Bryan sets up for the finisher but Styles counters. The two struggle and AJ ends up in a yes lock before being set upside down onto the turnbuckles.

Bryan hits a big move on AJ before going for an armbar to Styles' injured arm. AJ reverses it to a calf crusher and the two trade submission moves before AJ goes for a failed pin attempt.

We return to see Bryan deliver a speedy elbow to the face of AJ, followed by a drop kick into the corner. Bryan delivers his trademark Yes kicks but AJ manages to counter it after the first few. Styles takes Bryan down, showing great agility but fails to capitalise.

Bryan is in control but AJ hits him with a huge dropkick, sending him crashing outside. AJ goes for a suicide dive and the move finds its target as we head into another commercial break.

We return to it and the two seem equally matched as they trade holds. AJ takes Bryan down to the mat but fails to get a pinfall. Daniel hits AJ with some stiff kicks before focusing on dismantling his left arm.

Finally its time for the big main event. This is a dream match for countless fans and we can't wait; for the commercials to be over.

Still backstage, Renee walks up to AJ Styles who is very excited to face the legendary Daniel Bryan. He also mentions he doesn't need an apology from Nakamura, but would want to "shove his fist down Shinsuke's throat".

Carmella shows up backstage for an interview about her victory. She says the Queen overstayed her welcome and she, the 'princess' was there to take it from her. She gets emotional for a second but it was clearly a ruse as she thanks herself for the win. She also disregards the Iconic Duo's help in the matter.

Rusev is fired up and delivers a big machka kick on Roode followed by a submission. Randy comes from behind and sends Rusev into the ring post. Randy hits Roode with an RKO outta' nowhere and goes for a succesful pin. It's official! Randy will face Jinder for his title at Backlash.

Randy Orton def. Bobby Roode & Rusev to become the No. 1 contender for the United States title.

Bobby Roode and Randy Orton are squaring off now with great intensity. Orton delivers a powerslam in the middle of the ring but Rusev catches him off guard and puts the Viper through the table.

Rusev smacks Randy on the announce table and works on Randy but the Bulgarian is slammed onto the table himself.

We return to see The Viper working on breaking Roode in the ring. Rusev takes a neckbreaker from Roode but he fails to capitalise. Randy and Rusev fight it out as Jinder watches with a big smile from ringside.

Bobby Roode vs Randy Orton vs Rusev (Triple Threat Match for United Staes title No.1 Contender)

We go into commercials right after the three men enter the ring. This looks like it could be one of the best matches of the night; if we could only watch it instead of advertisements.

Carmella becomes the first woman to not only win the Money in the Bank but also the first to successfully cash it in!
