Sami sends Dolph shoulder-first into the turnbuckle. Ziggler rolls up Zayn out of nowhere but it's a 2-count. Zayn goes for the Helluva Kick again but Ziggler catches him with a Superkick for the 3-count. Dolph is headed to Fastlane!

Zaym hits Dolph with an Exploder Suplex from the top rope. Both men gingerly make their way back to their feet and trade right hands. Zayn sends Dolph face-first into the top turnbuckle. He sets up for the Helluva Kick but Dolph dodges it and hits the Zig-Zag. Buts it's only a 2!

Dolph heads to the top rope but Sami knocks him off his feet, sending him crashing into the top turnbuckle.

Zayn looks to be on top as we come back from the break. Ziggler uses what energy he has left to take Zayn down with a DDT. Both men are back on their feet as Ziggler hits a Famouser on the second attempt. 2-count for Dolph.

Zayn leaps off the top rope and Ziggler hits him with a dropkick as we head to commercials.

Zayn rolls out to ringside to regroup before climbing back in. Zayn clubs Ziggler on the back of the head and follows it by driving his boot into Ziggler's head. Sami then sends Ziggler throat-first into the middle rope.

Dolph Ziggler has this fire in him that hasn't been there for a while but will it be enough to carry him over the line? Ziggler starts off strong and he's all over Zayn who has to resort to cheap shots early on.

The referee misses the tag between Gable and Benjamin and the New Day use it to their advantage to hit Gable with the Midnight Hour for the win.

Kofi tags in Big E who goes to town on Chad Gable, hitting him with clotheslines and a belly-to-belly. He follows it with a running splash. Gable replies with an amazing rolling German suplex that made he crowd gasp out loud.

Gable and Benjamin are on top early on. They isolate Kofi and work on him, Gabe then distracts Woods as Benjamin hits him with a cheap shot. Kofi hits back with a beautiful dropkick as chants of "New Day" break out.

Gable and Benjamin throw a couple of pancakes to the ground before Benjamin tosses a tray and declares that he wants waffles.

Benjamin adds that after they opened their own pancake chain, they could leave the SmackDown tag-team division to serious competitors.

Thankfull for Big E, who looked like he wouldn't be breaking the record, Gable and Benjamin interrupted. Gable says that when he was training for the Olympics, a pancake eating competition is something he envisioned to be a part of.

The New Day are out next. The boys are celebrating pancake Tuesday with a table full of pancakes in the middle of the ring. Woods announces that Big E will break the record most pancakes eaten in 8 minutes.

Orton hit Sunil Singh with an RKO. Jinder then hit both Roode and Orton with the Khallas.

Jinder Mahal is also out. He takes a shit at Orton for being #9 on the SmackDown top 10. Jinder adds that he's had his ups and downs with Orton but he respected the latter. Jinder adds that the roster on the blue brand thought Orton had already peaked.

Bobby Roode is out for the US title open challenge out next. He takes a shot at Orton for the surprise RKO last week as he invites a challenger. And it's Randy Orton!

Corbin clothesline Owens in retaliation, nearly decapitating him with the impact. The two men are on the top turnbuckle now. Owens sends Corbin into the turnbuckle and covers him for 2. Owens is back on the top rope but Corbin is on his feet. Corbin plants Owens with the Deep Six.

Owens is still on top of things as we head back to the action. Owens hits a senton for a 2 count before locking in a headlock.

Corbin is doing a number on Owens, sending him face-first into the barricade before rolling Owens  back into the ring. Owens rolls out again in desperation and sends Corbin back-first into the ring. Owens looks like he has the uppehand as he hits Corbin with the canonball as we head to commercial.

Owens pushes Corbin into the corner as soon as the bell rings, getting in a few right hands before Corbin regrouped. Owens then rolled out to ringside as his bigger opponent followed him. Corbin rolls Owens back in but Owens got back to his feet and started to boot Corbin. Owens heads to the middle rope but Corbin flattens him with a right hands which forced Owens to roll out of the ring.

Charlotte has the fans behind her as she tries to break out of a submission. Charlotte is back on her feet but misses with a big boot, as Logan plants her with a back suplex. The two women trade forearms and Logan sends Charlotte face-first into the middle turnbuckle. Charlotte follows it with a nasty looking Natural Selection for the win.

Logan's attempted Irish Whip gets reversed and Charlotte hits her with a jumping knee. Logan continues to rain down boots on the champion before covering her for a 2.

We're back from the break as Charlotte is on a roll with a flurry of knife-edged chops. Logan replies with a tackle from behind, taking Charlotte down. Logan continues to drive her boot into Charlotte.

Logan shows off impressive power as the match began, taking Charlotte down with belly-to-back suplexes. Charlotte tries to break Logan's grip and does it successfully. She follows it with a boot to Logan's jaw as we cut to commercial.

Corbin's out next. Corbin no-shows his entrance and the cameras rush backstage to see Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn taking out Baron Corbin. Corbin fights back but is overpowerered and beaten down. Owens and Zayn then head out to ringside, setting their attentions to Ziggler.

Tonight, Dolph Ziggler returns to SmackDown LIVE for the first time in seven weeks. By the end of the night, The Showoff could be walking right into a WWE Championship opportunity.SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon revealed on Twitter Thursday morning that the winner of the battle between Ziggler and Baron Corbin will be added to the WWE Championship Match at WWE Fastlane. That means that AJ Styles will have to defend his title against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and the winner of this showdown.

Charlotte Flair continues her quest for payback against The Riott Squad

Last week on SmackDown LIVE, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair defeated The Riott Squad’s Liv Morgan, then made a bold claim: “One down, two to go.” The Queen’s quest for payback continues this week when she faces Sarah Logan.Charlotte had to face 3-on-1 odds against Morgan last week, until Ruby Riott and Logan were thrown out by the official, which gave The Queen the opening to defeat the feisty New Jersey native. However, the SmackDown Women’s Champion is once again walking into a battle where she’ll be at a distinct disadvantage, as The Riott Squad still have the numbers in their favor. Will Charlotte once again score a victory over a member of the vicious trio

Bobby Roode issues a United States Open Challenge

The Glorious One, who ranked No. 5 in the first-ever SmackDown LIVE Top 10 List, is determined to prove he’s a fighting United States Champion and possibly move up in the rankings. Tonight on SmackDown, Bobby Roode will aim to do that when he issues a United States Open Challenge. Plenty of competitors seem to have Roode in their sights, including Rusev and Randy Orton, who shocked the WWE Universe last week by dropping The Bulgarian Brute, Aiden English and Roode with RKOs last Tuesday.Who will answer The Glorious One’s call for competition? Will they be able to take the star-spangled championship from Roode?


The New Day take on Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin

Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin have made it clear that they are on a mission to rid SmackDown LIVE of any team that doesn’t take competition seriously. After picking up wins over SmackDown’s resident sleuths Breezango and their best pals, The Ascension, the mat-wrestling masters are aiming their sights at one of the most successful tag teams in history: The New Day.Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods love to have fun, eat pancakes and ensure that the WWE Universe is anything but booty – there’s no doubting that. However, if Gable & Benjamin think that The New Day don’t take things seriously when the bell rings, they may be in for a rude awakening, courtesy of the longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history.
